What events during the first days of Hitlers rise to power might have foreshadowed what
eventually happened to the Jews during World War II?
Hitler was one of the most influential people that the world has ever seen, yet he was
racist, hot headed, and only liked his way. But what did he do in his first days of power to show
how he was going to change the world his own way? Well, there are many sources available to
use in the world, so this should be no problem. Yet, only a couple of websites were useful to this
question surprisingly None of the less, lets dive into this very informative essay about the
beginning of the rule of Adolf Hitler.
So, what was one of the very first things that happened? Well it was very simple indeed,
It began with a simple boycott of Jewish shops(Website #1). So a very mild thing to do for a
group who is very Anti-Semitic. Like anybody can do this, so why do it as one of their first
things? Possibly they didnt want the rest of the world getting involved so quickly, so they took
baby steps to genocide. Another thing they did was, Hitler had repeatedly blamed the Jews

for Germany's defeat in World War I and subsequent economic hardship(Website #1). So
Hitler made accusations against the Jewish people, saying that they were the reason they lost
World War One. He also blamed that they caused the depression that Germany was going
through at the time. And the only reason why he got a lot of popularity was everyone was
miserable and they all needed someone to blame for their hardships. Another way Hitler hinted
his disapproval and hatred for the Jewish people and Jewish community was, The Jews,
according to Hitler, were the racial opposite, and were actively engaged in an international

conspiracy to keep this master race from assuming its rightful position as rulers of the
world.(Website #1). So Hitler believed that there was a master race to trump all others in all
aspects. That master race is a bunch of white skinned, blond haired, blue eyed people who will
be superior to all others races. Problem was that Hitler thought that the Jew were everything that
his master race wasnt, and that caused him to think that the entirety of the Jewish ethnicity
had to be eliminated from the world completely. So what else did hitler do to hint his hatred and
massive dislike of the Jews?
Hitler had done a multitude of things just to try and eradicate the Jewish people. But what
hints did people pick up on that he was planning to commit genocide on an entire race of people
all over the globe? One example was when the Nazis took over Austria and started, A brutal
crackdown immediately began on Austria's Jews(Website #1). So after what he was
beginning to do to all of the Jews in Germany, he decides to go to another country entirely
because he wants the entire ethnic group to die. So he invades Austria, the place he grew up in,
and incarcerates, captures, kills, and do whatever he so pleases with the Jewish people of the
country. This is a major indicator of what Hitler is planning to do to the world if he gets the
power and control of the world that he wants oh so very much. Another thing that Hitler did that
hinted his hatred for the Jews, Spurred on by Joseph Goebbels, Nazis used the death of vom
Rath as an excuse to conduct the first State-run pogrom against Jews.(Website #1) . So
basically a Jewish person killed a couple of Nazis because they were abusing his parents. So the
Nazis were like why not use this as an excuse to bring even more torture to them? So what they
did was create riots and started to literally drag Jews out of their places, burned their businesses,
and beat them to a pulp. All in all they used a insignificant problem that had little problem to
them, and turned it into a major conflict that had injured and killed many Jews. Another thing

that they had done was, On the eve of World War II, the Fhrer (supreme leader) publicly
threatened the Jews of Europe during a speech in Berlin(Website 1). So finally, Hitler
makes his statement! He has declared war unto the Jewish people all across the world. This is the
start of the new world war, so watch out. S lets wrap it up.
So This has shown how hitler has hinted to his actions of what he will do later on in his
rule as leader of Germany. He had done many terrible things in the course of his reign, yet there
was many many signs that he was going to go off the rails. He was one crazy man who really,
really hated the Jewish people, If only people saw that he was about to shove the world into
despair and suffering. Its a shame really.
