What Aspects Of Hitlers Early Life Might Have Influenced How He Conducted Himself As
Chancellor In Germany?
Paths to people's success in life come from influences. It can affect them so much that it
makes it their goal to follow what they have been exposed or taught. Sometimes it can can be for
the best or for the worst. For Adolf Hitler, he grew up with various influences of politics in a
negative way. All of those influences made him the way he was know of controlling Germany.
Hitler's influences were his history teacher Leopold Poetsch, politician Karl Lueger, and his
participation in World War I.
Leopold Poetsch was a nationalist and held strong racist views and told his students that
Jews and Slavs were members of "inferior races". In Hitler's book Mein Kampf he wrote,He
used our national fanaticism way of education, often appealing to our sense of national
honor(Website #1). This shows, that Poetsch wanted the students to be proud of their county
and background. Not only that but to defend it from others and those being the other races he
would refer as, inferior. Hitler also mention that Mr. Poetsch would, On such occasions we
sat there, often aflame with enthusiasm, and sometimes even moved to tears(Website #1). By
this it displays that the teacher had a way with words. Poetsch seemed to easily wash the students
brains with negative ideas. At a young age Hitler was feed lies and shaped to be a boy of hatred.
With all of these speeches made Hitler open minded. He mention that Mr Poetsch , made
history my favorite subject. And indeed, though he had no such intention, it was then that I

became a little revolutionary(Website #1). This makes Hitler patriotic with chaos but, made his
curiosity for history more open and wanting to know more of it. Not only was his teacher an
influence of how he conducted himself of chancellor of Germany but the Austrian politician Karl
Lueger had many influences as well.
Karl Lueger was one of the first politician that inspired Hitler in the idea of anti-Semitic.
He was the populist and anti-Semitic politics in his Christian Social. When Hitler joined he
thought to himself, My views with regard to anti-Semitism thus succumbed to the passage of
time, and this was my greatest transformation of all(Website #2). This shows he has changed all
of his perspectives of the Jewish people. Not only this but hes satisfied with the new aspect of
it. Throughout his new way of looking at life he, begins to look upon the world through the
filter of the populist anti-Semitism of his new mentor(Website #2). This clearly displays how
Hitler yet again is brainwashed with the ideas of anti-Semitism. Karl Lueger is now his puppet
master controlling what he believes. With all of this Hitler had the mind set to, nonsensical
proofs and twisted logic presented as spiritual enlightenment(Website #2). This represents how
he was spiteful having trouble between spiritual education. Hitler would often observe any fact
or impression that would reinforce his new beliefs. The finding of the politician Karl Lueger
wasn't the only thing that influence of how he conducted himself of chancellor of Germany but
his partition of World War 1 was one as well.
Hitler joining the the first war was the nail to the coffin for having such hatred for the
Jews. Germany wanted to dominate the twentieth century but failed to do so. This made Hitler
believe, Jews as Communists and claimed that they had deliberately made Germany lose World
War 1 by causing strikes, subversion and revolution on the homefront(Website #3). He had
hatred for them for these things that they supposedly did. Not only this but many people believed
that the Jews were going to dominate the world. Since Hitler was a huge nationalist he also

Vite 3
believed that, - Austria/Germany - was the best on the planet and by implication that all other
nations were inferior (Website #3). With his way of thinking this started to give him the idea of
one day making Germany a dominate country over the rest. This later becomes one of the
reasons of the second World War. After the first World War Germany was to blame and had to
pay everyone, leaving them bad economically. Hitler would say that the Jews, had deliberately
caused the Great Depression. Since he believed they lost the war because of them he would
obviously blame the economy failure to them as well. With Germany falling apart Hitler couldn't
stand it so he became more interested in to politics and later make him a dictator. All in all, there
are many different ways he got influences that made him controlling of Germany.
His participation in World War I, politician Karl Lueger, and his history teacher Leopold
Poetsch are some of the many inspirations he got influenced to conduct himself as chancellor in
Germany. All of these so called inspirations brought him to be a ruthless dictator making it the
worst time in Germany and Europe. His goal of taking over the world was a fail and just brought
misery to the innocent people that lost their live during the time of his dictatorship.
