Use the attached Shamrock to create a Selly Award for a great read you finished
this year. It cannot be the school-wide read aloud,

Requirements
:
1. In the top leaf you need to include what genre or category the book is
winning the award for (ex. best book about life in middle school, best
comedy book, best dystopian novel, etc.) and provide a 2-3 sentence
explanation supporting your rationale (reasoning).
2. In the leaf on the left, write your favorite line(s) from the book and explain
in 2-3 sentences why the line(s) are important to the book as a whole.
3. In the leaf on the right, include a small word collage of descriptive words
and phrases that capture important ideas about the book's theme, plot,
setting, and main characters.
4. In the middle, create a small symbol that represents something important
from the book like a main character, plot event, or significant part of the
setting.
5. In the stem, include the title and author of the book, spelled correctly
6. Make sure your Selly Award is colorful and fun!!! NO PENCIL!!! Think of any
extra special touches you can add to make it stand out.
