    STEM Reflection

    The dream of becoming a surgeon encouraged me to transfer to Academy High


    School. Classes like BioMed 1 and 2, and being able to participate in the Nano Club
    allowed me to explore the medical field more than I wouldve been allowed if I wasnt
    attending Academy. My sophomore year I took two science classes, Biology and
    Chemistry, which forced me to develop better studying skills. I have benefitted greatly
    for developing these skills and will help me when I persue my future education.
    Attending a STEM school solidified my dreams of become a plastic surgeon even more.
