Leadership Considerations:

This activity provides clients to work on their social and cognitive skills by working on
concentration, memory, alertness, and how well they work as a team. It is important for
leader to gauge activity for possible modifications. This type of activity requires no
physical exhaustion and it is played in sitting positions allowing clients with wheelchairs
to participate. It is preliminary that the leader to project their voice and speak clearly.

If presented with a client who has vascular dementia with difficulties speaking, leader
should encourage client to write their answers. In case that clients dementia was cause
by an ischemic stroke and clients limbs function impairs fine motor skills then the client
could use a glove with Velcro and the Bib card could have attached with the Velcro in
order to raise hand to indicate the answer. Also on the clients with dementia questions
could be adapted to assist in educating and evaluating the client about their knowledge
of their condition. This is a great activity to reinforce something that leader was
teaching about.
