Teacher Proctor meeting

Thank you for cooperating with giving the exams while students
are in session
We need at least 2 adults present at all times
Review the proctor schedule and what the plan is- start the
exam, go to your classroom and send sub to exam room, scoring
day
Review the proctor directions- each teacher who starts the test is
asked to be sure the students have the materials needed for
specific exams and that they have the correct exam. (page 1014)
Teachers will read the specific directions about communication
devices (electronic statement)
Test booklets cannot be opened and read prior to distribution of
tests to students
Teachers to have the appropriate references tables
Scannable answer sheet -with uniform written directions about
the completion of the grids and provide these directions to all
teachers administering the exam. Also develop directions to
students on what writing implement to use and how to fill in the
answer sheet. These directions provide to proctors.
If there is anything else you think of that we need to prepare for
let us know-pencils, reference tables, calculators
For Wednesdays scoring we need to keep in mind the large need
for Substitutes (8) that day. If another teacher is out we may
need to pull from the scoring group.

Keep all communication devices put away during the exams.
Use only in emergency
Students use a pen (dark blue or black) ink to write their answers
to the argument essay and literary analysis response and for the
answer sheets.
Conclude exam exactly 3 hours after the start of the exam. At
that time instruct the students to stop working, close their
examination booklets, sign the declaration and put their pens
and pencils down. Collect the answer sheets, essay booklets and
scrap paper and dismiss the students.
Once a student has completed the exam, all materials should be
collected and logged in (#11).

Be sure student signs the declaration. (after #12)


Give them a bell schedule to help with questions- what period
are they in, when they are done.
