Question:
1. Discuss the disparity in educational
technology advancement in schools of
industrialized First World country(such
as the U.S., England, Japan, Singapore,
Australia) and a developing country,
namely Philippines?

Answer:
First world countries are way too far from us
here in Philippines. Most of the professors in
their institution have their own website
where students can get their assignment
and quiz. On the other hand, in our country it
is very seldom that the teacher will send
their quiz and assignment through emails or
through their own websites.

2. Given the lack of resources in our
rural areas in the Philippines, what
media can still be used for effective
learning in schools?

Answer:
Some of the instructional media that a
teacher can use due to lack of resources
are newspapers, books, charts, pictures
and also te chalkboard.

3.Computer shops are pervasive around
schools, but these are mainly used for
playing games. Without judging on the
possibly dehumanizing effects of
excessive computer game habits, how
can learner best use computer resource
as they may be available in schools or at
home?

Answer:
The learner best use the
computer for the information
they want to know on their
assignments, activities, etc. They
can use the different websites on
their research.

4. In small groups, also formulate
your personal anticipation on what
you can learn/achieve from the
course, given your own experience
with computers and fun/enriching
activities you presently get from it.

Answer:
Educational Technology 2 will improved
our learning and skills in computer. It
will help us to be more creative when it
comes to different activities and
presentation. This course is primarily
directed at enhancing teaching-learning
through technology integration.

5. Many college students are presently
required to take Computer courses
including word processing (Microsoft
Office), spreadsheet preparation (Excel),
presentation techniques ( PowerPoint),
etc. How do you think this will help
application of skills in Educational
Technology 2 ?

Answer:
It is very important that we have
knowledge in the different computer
courses. This will help many college
students to do their task easy and
presentable. Students will be more
creative as they use the different
computer courses.

6. From those who have done
internet surfing/searching/reading,
what do the Websites offer users?

Answer:
Websites offers different
information for different purposes.
There are educational and work
related websites and there are
also websites for fun and
entertainment purposes.

Question:
7. Do you think there are enough websites for
educational purposes? Do you think there are
many users of educational websites?

Answer:
Yes, there are so many websites for
educational purposes. A lot of students
use to surf the internet for their
projects or assignments because it is
one of the easiest way to find answers
and sometimes they find information
from the book limited only.
