4th Annual Jamboree - Golfers are divided into two teams via Jamboree draft. Each of the four rounds are
a different format challenging players to accumulate Jamboree (Jam) Points in a Ryder Cupesque fashion.
Whichever team has the most Jam points after 72 holes wins Jamboree, Jamboree Bell and annual
bragging rights. Potentially 88 Jam Points. Defending champion, Team Demps, wins in the event of a tie.

a. Friday Morning - Cobb Course @ 8:24 AM

i. Singles Match Play

ii. 1 v. 1. Each player plays their own ball.

iii. (1) Jam Point: Player with the most match play points per matchup after 18 holes wins a
Jam Point
iv. (3) Prop Jam Points Two closest to the pins & longest drive on hole #2
b. Friday Afternoon - Stonehaven Course @ 2:30 PM
i. Shamble Alternate Shot Doubles Match Play
ii. 2 v. 2. All four players tee off. Each two man team selects their preferred drive. The player
whose drive is not selected hits the second shot and players continue to alternate turns
taking their teams shot until their ball is holed. Best score per hole wins a match play point.
iii. (3) Jam Points per 4some: Most Best Ball points on F9, B9 and overall.
iv. No Jam Prop Point
c. Saturday Morning- Stonehaven Course @ 8:20 AM
i. Shamble - Doubles Best Ball & Cumulative Strokes
ii. 2 v. 2. All four players tee off. Each two man team selects their preferred drive. Both
players play their second shot from the preferred drive and then play their own ball until
their individual ball is holed.
iii. The best individual score on each hole receives a Best Ball point
iv. (3) Jam Points: The two man team with the most Best Ball points on the Front 9 earns a
Jam point and the two man team with the most Best Ball points on the back 9 earns a Jam
point. The third Jam point per foursome goes to the lower 18 hole two man cumulative
stroke score.
v. (1) Prop Jam Point: Lowest two man stroke score for the Jamboree group
d. Saturday Afternoon Cobb Course @ 2:33 PM
i. 2Man Scramble - Doubles Match Play
ii. 2 v. 2. All four players tee off. After each shot the two man team plays their preferred shot
until the ball is holed.
iii. (3) Jam Points per 4some: Most match play points on F9, B9 and overall
iv. (18) Prop Jam Points: Skin/Jam point to a two man team that score better than any two
mean team on the opposing squad. For example, TWO two man teams from Team
Demps birdie #3 and not one two man team from Team Group scores better than par on
the same hole; therefore, Team Demps earns ONE Skin/Jam point. Or, if three two man
teams teams from Team Grout and one team from Team Demps birdie #1 the no
Jam/Skins awarded for #1. Last example, one two man team from Team Grout eagles #18
and nobody from Team Demps scores better than birdie. Team Grout earns 1 Jam/Skin
point.

Code of Jamboree
a. We play the ball up. Golfers can improve their lie but cannot manipulate the ball in a manner that
changes their lie category.
b. Putts are eligible for gimmies if they are inside the grip of the players putter (i.e. less than the
distance between the players putter heel & the bottom of their putter grip. Place the putter heel in
the hole then bring the handle parallel to the green to determine if ball is inside the grip ).
Opposing team has final judgment on gimmies.
c. Ties in all point scenarios (Match Play, Best Ball, Skins, Jam, etc.) are a wash out. No carryovers.
d. 2 off the Tee (breakfast ball) is acceptable Friday morning and Saturday morning. No breakfast
balls during the afternoon rounds.
e. In the event of a Jamboree tie, the defending captain remains champion.
f. Double Par maximum scoring rules apply for each hole.
g. Scoring a hole in a one during a Jamboree round earns three Jam points for the aces team.
