How to apply:

(1) Application forms and other information can be downloaded from the Vector Control Research
Centres website (http://www.vcrc.res.in).
(2) Application forms duly completed in all respects and signed by the applicant should be sent to the
Director, Vector Control Research Centre, Medical Complex, Indira Nagar, Puducherry-605006 on or
before the closing date (10.03.2016 upto 5.00 PM) along with application fee.
(3) Applications

Departments/Public

Sector/Undertakings and Govt. funded research agencies must be forwarded through proper
channel. Advance copies of application will be considered subject to the condition that a No
Objection Certificate from the employer is produced at the time of personal discussion.
Application received after the closing date will not be considered.
(4) Self attested copies of the following documents are to be enclosed with the application:
a) Proof of Date of Birth
b) Educational qualification
c) Experience
d) Community certificate
e) List of publications in indexed/non-indexed journals with impact factor for each publication.
(5) Unsigned/incomplete application or application without supportive evidence asked for or
applications without application fee and applications received after the prescribed closing date are
liable to be summarily rejected.
General Conditions:
(1) Ph.D/MD in the relevant subject shall be treated as equivalent to 3 years experience.
(2) Since it is not possible to call all the applicants for the written test/interview, the candidates will be
short-listed for this purpose. The decision of the Director, VCRC will be final in this regard.
(3) No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate for appearing in the written test.
(4) The candidates called for interview from outstation will be paid 2
route.

certificates from Medical Board.
