INSTRUCTIONAL PROCEDURES:
HOW WILL THE TEACHER INTRODUCE THE STATIONS?
The teacher discuss each station in order by saying, Station #1 is Matching a
picture with its word. One group will go to that station and turn the cards over face
down so you can not see what is on the pieces of paper. Then one student can play
against another student and try to see who can get the most matches. The students
when finished can play together again or pick a new partner to play against.
The teacher will present station #2 by saying, Station 2 is Counting Beans. One
group will go over to the Math center when the teacher will have the beans in the
jars. The students will select one of the paper beans that are face down and
whatever number is on that bean they will need to count out how many beans they
need to make that number.

The teacher will present station 3 by saying, Station 3 is Letter/Word art. The
students will go over to the sand on the trays and pick a letter or word and spell
that letter with their finger.
The teacher will tell the students that each station has a guideline sheet to help
them with their activity. The teacher will divide the students into groups and instruct
the students they have 20 minutes each to work on their activities.

HOW WILL YOU GROUP THE STUDENTS:

The teacher will divide the students up into groups of 4-5 according to talents and
interests.

HOW WILL THE TEACHER MONITOR PROGRESS:

The teacher will monitor progress by moving around to the groups and asking
questions.

ASSESSMENT:
I will have 3 worksheets for the students to take home to see if they learned
anything in the activities.

ADAPTATION AND/OR MODIFICATIONS:

Groups will be based on talent, interest, skills, so adaptations should not be needed
in this situation.
