TESOL 302 LESSON PLAN TEMPLATE

A. Title
- Five significant concepts to enhance positive expectations.
B. Learning Objectives & Expected Results:
- Students should be able to address each student by name, saying please and thank
you, smiling, and showing care and warmth.
C. Students
- I will be teaching in a diverse classroom where my students vary from many parts of
the world. I will be teaching students from ages 11-12 in grade 7. My students are from
different diverse countries and cultural backgrounds from all over the world and different
environments. The majority of my students are from Americans and just part of them are
Asians with a few Polynesians. Although the learners are from many parts of the world,
one thing that they all share in common is passionate about teaching. Each of these
students were given the opportunity to share what they want to become in the future. It
turned out that the majority of these students share the same goal to become effective
teachers to touch the lives of the students in the future. Since majority of my students
are L2 Learners, therefore, I will be using English appropriate for my L2 learners to
teach them in the classroom.
D. Setting
- I will be teaching this lesson in a public school where many opportunities are opened
to students from all over the world to be educated. There are at least 20 students who
are In my class and we meet every Mon, Wed and Fri for 1 hours from 9-10.30am.
This public school offers a whole lot of techonologies to teach the students. Laptops,
computers, projectors, wifi and many other upgraded technologies to be able to teach
the students. Each student is able to access a computer for their learning in the
classroom.

F. Reflect
- The using of techonology in this lesson really helps enhance the learning process of
students in many different ways. It will help them create enjoyment within their learning

skills and be able to concentrate and focus well during class discussions. The use of
technology also help students expand their skills on knowledge on each lesson content
by using applications that are available to them online to learn.
Describe how you feel the use of technology in this lesson enhanced the learning process.
