1 started studying fine arts in 1983 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and began working in decora-

‘Axgentina; Chapters Oeste, Sur, and Tango in Buenos Aires; and Chapter Aconcagua in the
province of Mendoza. I have also taught several seminars at all Decorative Am Argentine
Conventions that have been held in Buenos Aires since 1999 and at all Decorative Art and
Painting Conventions of Uruguay.
Several of my Naif paintings and other works have been chosen for Christmas cards and
calendars by different charities nationwide and have been on display at the Decorative Arts
Museum and Casa Cuna, 1 also worked for two very popular cable television decorative arts
shows: Seeretos Decoratlvas and Manos a Ja Obra, In 2000, Tobiained my CDA certification
‘At present, I teach regularly at my own studio, Country Home, and at other locations in Buenos Aires as « guest teacher. I travel
throughout Argentina teaching seminars, and have been selected to teach at the SDP national convention in 2002. I also publish
packets with my designs.

T hope you enjoy yourself and spend many pleasant
‘moments painting these projects, just as I did!
‘When you paint a Naif project, you can change or create
new things along the way, which I'm sure you will enjoy
doing. This will tam your landscapes into very special places
‘that will bear the mark of your fantasy, turned into images by
‘your heart

‘with light and love and encouragement; to my mother, Teresa,
for her everlasting support and help along the way: 10 my
father and friend, Carlos, “The Old Mariner.” who gave me
the inspiration for this book, and has always stood by me
helping and supporting all my projects; and last, but not least,
to my brothers, Martin and Javier, whom I love deeply.
