This was the actual footage from the Apollo 11 moon landing. The video showed Neil
Armstrong taking the first steps on the Moon. The video presented in the website to provide a
visual aid for the landing. It was the highpoint in the mission and the website displayed this as
the focus. It shows what was achieved by the communication of ideas, and exploration of new
ones. It encompassed this years theme and was really useful for the project. It was accompanied
by many more pictures and facts that gave information about the mission.

serves to tie together the project.

This is a picture showing the earth from the apollo 8 mission. It was used on the historical
context page

This photo was taken during the parade for the successful Apollo 11 mission. The parade
took place in New York. The photo was used as a conclusion picture in the website. It showed
how massive and important of an event the mission was by the parade it had. The photo is
inspiring and shows what a large accomplishment the mission was. It provided the general
atmosphere of the country during the time of the landing. Parades as large as these were never
thrown again for subsequent lunar missions.

This was the overview of the Apollo 11 mission, written by NASA. It shows the missions
objectives and accomplishments. It was used to illustrate the exchange of ideas and exploration
of the mission. This piece was the primary document used in the project. It gave a
comprehensive outline on the mission, and framework for the project. It also supplied many
dates that were used to construct an accurate timeline of the mission.

This website provided general facts about the moon landing. It was used as filler for gaps
in between some parts of the website. It contained many pictures that were used in the project. It
also provided the author with information regarding the moon landing that was helpful for the
design of the webpage as well as information in the analysis of it.

This is a website that was an account of the moon landing from a point of view, several
decades later. It gives a brief overview of the mission, and then goes into more detail of its
effects. It was useful for the analysis portion of the website to properly talk about the major
contributions the mission had for the aerospace field of science. It also went on to talk about the
effect it had on NASA and subsequently the other manned missions to the moon.

This is an interview with Neil Armstrong from 2013. It provided a first hand look at the
moon landing, of how Neil felt about the mission. It gave an incredible retrospective of the
project and its significance to the participants and the country as a whole. It was one of the more
important sources because because it demonstrated the feelings of one of the participants.
