AUTOMATICMODEL:SENSE

Thismodelisdesignedfor
controllingthemotorwhich
drawwaterdirectlyfromMain
WaterSupplyLine.

ThismodelisdesignedtoautomatethewaterfillingfromDirectmainwater
supplylinetoOverHead/Undergroundstoragetank.OnetransmitterwithLine
Sensorisinstalledatmainwatersupplylinewhichcheckforwatersupplyinmain
lineroundtheclock.WhenevertheLineSensordetectsthesupplyofwaterin
mainlineitsandthesignaltocontrollerandLineWaterLEDwillstartblinking/
glowingwithanaudiosignal.
Anothertransmitterisinstalledwithlevelsensorsatstoragetank,which
sandthedataofwaterlevelandthewaterflowstatusoftanktocontroller.
Thecontrollerisinstalledneartheexistingswitchofthemotor.Itdisplay
FUSE
thewaterlevelstatusofoverheadtankandotherindications.Themotorwillbe
triggeredtostartinfollowingthreeconditions.
1) WhenevertheLineSensordetectsthesupplyofwaterinmainline(Ifwater
levelintankislessthen75%)
2) Atthescheduledtimer.(Ifwaterlevelintankislessthen75%)
3) WaterSearchButtonispressedfor5seconds.(Ifwaterlevelintankisless
thenFull)
Wheneverthecontrollergetanyofabovetrigger,abuzzerwillgiveaaudio
signal(beep)andtheLineWaterL.E.D.willstartblinking/glowing.Afterfew
secondthecontrollerwillstartsthemotorandcheckfortheflowofwaterintank.
Ifthewaterstartedfallingintank,theoverheadtanktransmitterwillsandthis
signaltocontrollerandtheFlowOKLEDwillglow.Ifthecontrollergetsflow
signalwithin3minute,itwillkeeprunningthemotortillthetank/tanksget
Full.Whilefillingthetankifflowofwaterintankisinterruptedformorethen3
minute,itwillstopthemotorandafter3minutecoolingperioditwillagainstart
themotorfor3minuteandcheckforflowofwaterinStorageTank.Afterstarting
themotoriftheflowofwaterinthetankisinterrupted,thecontrollertriesthree
timesof3minuteoperationwith3minutecoolingperiodbetweentrial.Ifeven
after3trial,thewaterflowdosenotstartintank,itwillstopthemotorandthe
FlowOKLEDwillstartblinkingindicatingthereisnowaterinmainsupplyline.
After5min.theblinkingofFlowOKLEDwillstopanditwillagainwaitfornext
trigger.
WheneverthecontrollerisswitchedONinAutoModeoritspowersupply
isreset,thecontrollerperformsselftestingfor2minute.After2min.itstarts
normaloperation.

TheMotorwillnotallowedtorunormaybestoppedinfollowing
conditions:
1) IfthewaterLevelinOverheadTankis75%ormore
2)IftheNoSignalLEDisglowingcontinuously.
3)IfHi/LowVoltLEDisblinking/glowing.(Ifvoltageprotectionisenabled)
4)Ifwhilerunningthemotorflowofwatertankisinterruptedformorethen2min.(
Ifflowsensorinstalled.Thisisoptionalfeature)
5)IfWaterlevelinO.Htankisnotchangedwithin2hoursinspiteofrunningmotor.(If
timeoutisenabled)

FUSE

MainSwitch: Thisisthreestopswitch.Whenpressedattopmostpositionthe
controllerwilloperateinAutomaticMode.When thisswitchispressedatlowermost
positionitwillbeinmanualmodeandmotorwillbestarted.Atcenterpositionof
switch,thecontrollerwillbeOff.Toresetthecontrollertheswitchshouldbeinoff
positionfor5sec.andafterwardinAutoModeposition.
MAINSIndicator: Itindicatesthatpowersupplyisreachinguptocontrollerunit.
Fuse: Afuseisprovidedforprotectionagainstheavycurrentduetofaultinmotoror
shortcircuiting.Incasefuseisblownawaythemotorandwiresupto motorshouldbe
getcheckedbyelectrician/manufacturingcompanyofmotor.
TimerSettingButton:ThisbuttonisusedtooperatetheTIMERFunctions.Please
referTIMEROPERATIONsection.
WaterSearchButton: Ifthisbuttonispressedfor5seconds,itwilltriggerthemotor
andgives3trialstosearchwater.

AutoMode:Ifitisglowing,itindicatesthatcontrolleris workinginautomaticMode
i.e itwillperformalloperationautomatically.
NoSignal:ThisLEDwillblinkifitdosenotreceivesignalfromMainLinetransmitter
andglowsteadilyifitdosenotreceivesignalfromStorageTanktransmitter.Ifitis
receivingsignalfrombothtransmittersitwillremainoff.
LineWater:Itwillstartblinking/glowingifthecontrollergetstriggertostartmotor
asmentionedabove.Ifthereissufficientwaterpressureinmainwatersupply,lineit
willglowcontinuously.
HighVolt:Ifitisglowing,itindicatesthatsupplyvoltageisabove250V.Themotor
willnotbeallowedtooperateinthiscondition.
LowVolt:Ifitisglowingitindicatesthatsupplyvoltageislessthen170V.Themotor
willnotbeallowedtooperateinthiscondition.
FlowOK:IfitisglowingitindicatesthatwaterisfallinginStorageTank.Ifitisblinking
itindicatesthatevenafterthreetrials,waterdosenotstartfallinginstoragetankand
motorisstoppedduetothis.

TankWaterLevel:
Full ThisLEDindicatesthatthewaterlevelinTankis100%
75% ThisLEDindicatesthatwaterlevelinTankisbetween75%and100%.
50% IfthisLEDisglowing,itindicatesthatwaterlevelinTankisbetween50%and
75%.Ifitisblinking/off,itindicatesthatwaterlevelinoverheadtankislessthen
50%.
MotorON:IfthisLEDisglowing,itindicatesthatcontrollerhasstartedthemotor.If
thisLEDisblinking,itindicatesthatcontrollerhasstoppedthemotorbecausewater
levelinStorageTankisnotchangingevenaftercontinuousrunningthemotorfor2
hours(Maybesometapremainedopenbymistake).IfthisLEDisblinkingitwillstop
alloperationuntilitisreset.

SETTINGS
Enabling/DisablingVoltageProtection:
Voltageprotectioncanbedisabled/enabledbypressingWaterSearchbutton3
times.IfboththeLEDofHighVolt&LowVoltisstartedblinking,itconformsthat
voltageprotectionifdisabled).Ifthisbuttonisagainpressed3times,protectionis
enabled.Thisprotectionisgenerallyrequiredtodisablewherethereiscontinuous
fluctuationofvoltagebeyondtheoperatingvoltageduetowhichcontrollerstopthe
operationofmotor.Customercandisablethisprotectionathisownrisks,asitmay
damagemotor.
Enabling/DisablingTimeout:
A2hourstimeoutprotectionisprovidedinthismodel,i.e.ifthewaterlevelin
controllerdosenotchangeevenaftercontinuousoperationofmotorfor2hours,the
controllerwillswitchoffthemotorandstopallfurtheroperationuntilsystemis
reset.ForlargetanksthisTimeoutfeaturecanbedisable/enabledbypressing
WaterSearchbutton9times(Onebeepwillindicatethatitisdisabled).Ifthis
buttonispressedagain9times,itwillbeenabled(Twobeepswillindicatethatitis
enabled).
