2016

1 - The ARTERRA is a structure of temporary residencies exclusively for

artists in and outside Portugal.
2 - The artists can stay in for a minimum of three days and a maximum of
six months.
3 - The selection of artists will be the manager of ARTERRA at specific
times to be announced.
4 - The application must contain the following elements:
- C.V. artist detailed and Biography;
- Portfolio, videos, photos ... ;
- Description of the project to be undertaken ARTERRA out, including the project's objectives,
methodologies, needs and expectations of residence and all the details necessary to
understanding the proposal;
- Dates and Duration of residence (two options);
- Details (need for meals, work characteristics, number of persons, additional information
relevant to the work process).

5 - Admission to the nomination constitutes acceptance of the following

obligations on the part of the resident:
- Payment of 20% of the total value at time of booking the same.(not refundable)
-Payment of the remaining 80% maximum until the arrival day to ARTErra residency.
- The costs of transportation, food, health insurance, and materials are the responsibility of the
artist applicant.
- Projects/ artistss monitoring, tours, graphic design, translation services and audiovisual have
a price list.
- Authorization by the (s) artist (s) of your project / work in developing ARTERRA be disclosed
in any media.

6 - The arrival and departure (date and time) will be agreed in advance
with the responsible ARTERRA.

6.1-On arrival the artist sign the inventory of the contents of your room and equipment
required, thus paying a deposit of 250 for use, any damage or harm will be discounted from
there, despite any damage will be charged that amount.
6.2-Will be made on arrival a guided tour ARTErra in order to present to the resident space.
6.3-At the agreed date of departure, places of work and care should be free from any personal
or professional belongs.

7 - Any stranger is forbidden to enter and remain in ARTErra facilities

without prior authorization.

8 The house cleaning is weekly. The maintenance of the room and other
work and common areas are the responsibility of residents.

9 - ARTErra has laundry, photographic equipment, sound studio, bicycles,

library, and other equipment and tools that may be requested and used by
the payment of the fare.

10 - Smoking is prohibited inside the facilities below the ARTErra, common

areas, the rooms and also in work places. Smoking is allowed on balconies,
patios and yard.

11 - Any violation of this regulation, as well as any behavior that disrupts

the order and proper functioning, the resident shall subject to penalties
determined by the direction of ARTErra, including exclusion.

12 - Acceptance of the artist in ARTErra, is effective upon signature of this

regulation, and subsequent acceptance of the above conditions.

13 - The omissions in these regulations will be decided by the

management of ARTErra in accordance with current legislation and / or on
a case by case.
