Clinical Psychologist

The position of a Clinical psychologist is ideally suited for someone who has good problem
solving skills, effective interpersonal skills and has the ability to manage stress.
PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS
1. Masters and PhD in Psychology
2. Must have completed at least five years of post-supervisory hands on treatment.
3. Previous work done in the area of psychological assessment and providing treatment
service and expertise in adult mental health areas.
4. Be committed to continually improve service delivery
5. Able and willing to commit at least 2-3 years or longer.
6. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
7. Sense of Humour.
8. Ability to prioritise activities.
9. Ability to work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team.
10. Function autonomously and work collaboratively with others involved in service
delivery to ensure the best outcome for the consumer/service.
Be a part of a dynamic Clinical Psychologist services health professional team working
closely in conjunction with courts and correction services as well as local general mental
health providers.
Working in relationship with legal, correction, courts and clinical settings you will provide
assessments, reports, treatment services and education.
