Responsible for designing and teaching a Grade 11 English social justice and creative writing
unit, a Grade 10 English thematic editorial unit in, and multiple Grade 10 problem solving,
research and coding units in computer science. Created adapted lessons, assessment tools and
projects for a diverse and inclusive learning experience.

Responsible for developing and teaching thematic English units and Small Basic programming

Support Worker: New Directions SSH, September 2012 - Present
Support individuals with intellectual disabilities in their everyday lives. These individuals are male
and female between the ages 12 and 65 and have intellectual disabilities such as developmental
delay, autism, fetal alcohol syndrome, and schizophrenia.
CanU Academy Team Member: Faculty of Education, September 2014 - March 2015
Helped, as a team of 6, organize and implement the Discover Literature! Academy, a reading
and writing club for students in grades 5 and 6. Also created CanU and Education presentations
at the University of Manitobas Info Days for students interested in Education.
