START-UP/PUSH BACK AND TAXI PROCEDURES


1. Contact CHAKLALA Tower for push-back/start up approval 5 minutes before ready. Expect ATC
clearance together with start-up approval. Start-up approval will remain valid for 5 minutes.
In case of delay fresh approval shall be obtained.
2. When ready for push-back contact CHAKLALA Tower indicating the runway predetermined by
departure route designator.
3. Aircraft parked on civil apron stand numbers 2 thru 8 shall not start engines until towed to abeam
stand number 9.
4. Acft are to switch off abeam parking stand 13 on twy C short of VIP Apron and will be towed
further to the respective parking stand.
5. All medium and above category acft parked at VIP apron will be pushed back/pulled forward
on twy C and shall be given start-up/taxi when lined up facing East bearing 90^.
