becausehenevermakesitthroughtheCriticalEntrance.Instead,hespendshourswallowinginThe
DarkPlayground,hatinghimself:

TheTippingPointisimportantbecauseitsnotjustyouwhocansmelltheHappyPlaygroundupahead
themonkeycansmellittoo.Themonkeydoesntcareifhisinstantgratificationcomesalongsideyou
oratyourexpense,hejustlovesthingsthatareeasyandfun.OnceyouhittheTippingPoint,the
monkeybecomesmoreinterestedingettingtotheHappyPlaygroundthantheDarkPlayground.When
thishappens,youloseallimpulsetoprocrastinateandnowbothyouandthemonkeyarespeeding
towardthefinish.

Beforeyouknowit,youredone,andyoureintheHappyPlayground.Now,forthefirsttimeinawhile,
youandthemonkeyareateam.Youbothwanttohavefun,anditfeelsgreatbecauseitsearned.
Whenyouandthemonkeyareonateam,yourealmostalwayshappy.

TheotherthingthatmighthappenwhenyoupasstheTippingPoint,dependingonthetypeoftaskand
howwellitsgoing,isthatyoumightstartfeelingfantasticaboutwhatyoureworkingon,sofantastic
