NAVOTAS POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE

13th COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES

I. INTRODUCTION:
Marco: Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Graduation day is always a
day of rejoicing for it marks the conclusion of an educational journey
and the commencement of another more uncertain and more difficult
part of man’s quest for a better life and future.

Ofel: Truly, today signifies the culmination of may years of hard work in the
relentless pursuit of knowledge: knowledge that will enable a person
to embrace opportunities and take on challenges with clear vision and
purpose.

Marco/Ofel: Friends, welcome to the 13th Commencement Exercises of


Navotas Polytechnic College.

II. PROCESSIONAL
Ofel: The candidates for graduation with their parents and advisers:
• BACHELOR OF ARTS under the advisorship of Ms. Rosario
Tesorero.
• BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN BUSINESS
ADMINISTRATION MAJOR IN MANAGEMENT under the
advisorship of Mr. Mario Camacho.
Marco: BACHELOR IN ELEMENTARY EDUCATION under the
advisorship of Ms. Lucila Davadilla.
BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
Major in Management under the advisorship of Ms. Marjorie Salcedo.
Ofel: BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE under the
advisorship of Jensen Santillan.
BACHELOR IN SECONDARY EDUCATION under the advisorship
of Dr. Cecilia Saenz.

Marco: The candidates for graduation with two-year course in


• COMPUTER SYSTEMS PROGRAMMING under the advisorship of
Mr. Welly Malquitar
• ASSOCIATE IN COMPUTER NETWORK TECHNOLOGY
• ASSOCIATE IN COMPUTER SECRETARIAL under the
advisorship of Mr. Alberto Carlos.

Ofel: Tailing next are the graduates who excel in their academic endeavors,
the honor students with their proud parents. It is followed by the NPC
MACE carried by _________________.

Marco: Next in line, the pillars of this institution, the indefatigable and
competent professors of Navotas Polytechnic College, led by
_______________, NPC Faculty Assoc. President.

Right next to them are the hardworking and efficient members of the
administrative department led by our president, Ms. Francisca Roque
and our Academic Affairs Coordinator, Dr. Zosima Basco.

Ofel: Ladies and gentlemen, let us welcome, the school’s policymakers, the
members of the BOARD OF TRUSTEES.

Marco: Ladies and gentlemen, behold the entrance of colors.

IV. DOXOLOGY & NAT’L ANTHEM


Ofel: God Almighty, we offer you this momentous occasion. Truly, we
rejoice because you have made this event possible through your
GRACE, COMPASSION and LOVE.
May we hear the doxology from the graduating students of the
NPC CHOIR to be followed by the singing of the NATIONAL
ANTHEM with MAESTRO JOSEPH BENEDICT DELOS REYES
conducting.

V. PRESENTATION OF CANDIDATES
Marco: At this point, may I call on Miss Fransisca Roque to present the
candidates fro graduation to HON. TOBIAS REYNALD M.
TIANGCO, our CITY MAYOR and the CHAIRMAN of the BOARD
OF TRUSTEES.

VI. DISTRIBUTION OF DIPLOMA


Ofel: Dear graduates the moment you have been waiting for has finally
come. The fruit of hardwork and discipline will finally be reaped. You
will now be receiving your prized diploma, a symbol of
accomplishment.
May I request Hon Mayor Toby Tiangco and Hon. Vice Mayor
Patrick Joseph Javier together with our President to congratulate our
graduates and Mrs. Ma Bernadette G. Reyes to assist in the
distribution of diplomas.

or her commitment to excellence, regardless of the chosen field of
endeavor.
Ladies and gentlemen, let us recognize those students ordinary things
extraordinary well.

Marco: At this juncture, may I call on Engineer Edison U. Ang, member,
Board of Trustees to introduce our guest speaker.

VIII: GRADUATION SONG:


Marco: Thank you, Dr. Peralta for that very meaningful and insightful
speech.
Music is the expression of the soul. It moves emotions and feels with
the movement of time. Through a song that emphasizes that the
journey is more important than the destination. Let us hear the
graduates sing “THE CLIMB” with Maestro Joseph Benedict delos
Reyes on keyboard.

IX: CONRATULATORY MESSAGE


Ofel: To give our graduates a rousing congratulatory message, may we have
one of our nation finest leaders, the man behind the dramatic growth
of Navotas, ladies and gentlemen, Hon. Mayor Toby Tiangco.

X. RESPONSE OF GRADUATES
Marco: to express the sentiment of batch 2010, may I call on academic
excellence awardee, Stephen Villarosa.

XI. PLEDGE LOYALTY


Ofel: To lead the class in their pledge of loyalty, may I call on Danica L.
Vicente, Academic Excellence Awardee BEED.

XII: CLOSING SONGS


Marco: The closing hour has finally arrived. Tomorrow, new challenges and
opportunities await our graduates that will further test their mettle as
improving individuals. As they continue with their journey, may they
look back to this stage in their life with fondness and pride. Ladies
and gentlemen, the graduates to sing the “NPC Graduation Hymn”
and Farewell.
XIII. EXIT OF COLORS
Ofel: Please rise for the exit of colors.
Another achievement has been fulfilled tonight, I would like to say
thank you to all our guests and we are inviting you to partake of our
simple offering. Thank you very much and good night.

Marco: To all graduates, we wish you good luck, good health and may God
offer you heaps of blessing in the days ahead. We are your emcees,
Mr. Marco D. Meduranda and Mrs. Ofel H. Dipasupil, signing off….
