Workshop:
The participating teachers believe that:

beneficial for them in discussing lessons in class;
2. arts and its other forms may be used as a creative /
interactive means of instruction or strategy to easily deliver
and explain to the students;
3. the important points discussed are useful for club moderators,
especially in relaying the proper application of techniques,
etc.;
4. the workshop has helped and will continue to open the
windows of hidden or undiscovered talents and skills of both
teachers and students;
5. the thorough knowledge of our heritage and culture has
equipped them to teach better, to teach more;
6. the workshop has clearly emphasized that the Filipino culture
must be a major foundation of learning for young Filipinos;
7. learning through experience is evidently effective in
incorporating arts in educating the students;
8. the workshop will continue to awaken the love of Filipinos for
the Filipino culture;
9. the workshop has reminded Filipinos young and old across
Dubai and Sharjah to prioritize and to promote Filipino
celebrations and festivities in school activities and events.
Suggestions:

Facilitators, organizers and participating teachers have suggested

to:
1. organize longer and more comprehensive workshops for
teachers on Philippine culture, arts and heritage;
2. let more facilitators and cultural workers from NCCA and other
affiliated organizations visit UAE, or vice-versa, have the
teachers enroll themselves to such workshops during vacation
(July-August) in the Philippines;
3. encourage school administrators of the participating schools
to continue supporting cultural workshops for teachers, which
may include sending teachers for training and workshops, and
others;
4. allow NCCA to tap CFO for the promotion of cultural workshops
for teachers across UAE and other neighboring countries;
5. encourage teachers to connect with the NCCA and/or PETA
with the help of PCG-Dubai
