Identifying an aspect of the


educational practice to improve
Pupils could not use verbs correctly and
appropriately.
Advanced pupils were unable to expand the use
of verbs and weaker pupils could not find the
suitable verbs.
Why does the problem exist?

The pupils were not interested in learning grammar


because of traditional methods of teaching grammar.

Research Objective:
USING LANGUAGE GAMES TO IMPROVE THE
USE OF IRREGULAR VERBS AMONG YEAR 4
PUPILS OF INTERMEDIATE LEVEL.

Research Question:
Does using grammar games improve the
use of irregular verbs among Year 4 pupils
in the English language classroom?

Action Planning
Jeopardy Game was chosen as a suitable resource
from the finding done by the teacher with five
respondents.
The outcome of the research would be about the
respondents performance, effectiveness of the resource
and their participation towards learning about irregular
verbs through language games.

Qualitative
In collecting qualitative data, interview instrument will be
taken.
Teacher choose the target pupils and conduct an interview
with them.
Observe the pupils behave in class, for example the
pupils participation, reaction and achievement towards
grammar games.
