2016-2017 Waitlist Application

for Incoming 10th Graders
University Prep Charter High School is now accepting student applications. This public high school
provides a comprehensive college-preparatory education.
We are located on the fourth floor of 600 St. Anns Avenue, Bronx, NY 10455 (in the IS 162 Building).
Current 9th grade students may apply for admissions to the 10th grade for the 2016- 2017 school year.
All students accepted to the 10th grade in September 2016 will be selected from the waitlist.

Waitlist: Students admitted to the 10th grade in 2016 will be selected from a waitlist. Applications will
be placed on the 10th grade waiting list in the order of date received. Preference is given to students
residing in Community School District #7 and to students who have siblings currently enrolled at
UPCHS. Students will be admitted as seats become available in the 10 th grade.
Enrollment: All accepted students must complete the schools enrollment process to be added to the
10th grade roster. Failure to complete this process may result in forfeiture of acceptance to the school.
In addition to required enrollment forms, families must present documentation that their child has
received all vaccinations.
University Prep Charter High School does not discriminate against or limit the admission of any
