Photoshop Tools and Features User Log

The purpose of this log is for you to record what tools and features you used in the creation of your digital graphics. You should try to use as many
as possible and you must record how, why and when you used them. You do not need to record repeated actions but each single new action
should be recorded. An example of this would be setting up a new Photoshop file/image which would cover the ranges; Image Settings (all) and
part of Menus (some of). You only need to do this once. Remember that where the e.g. appears in a range, as many of the items should be
covered as possible but not all of them; your tutor will guide you here. Where possible you should also provide a screen dump to illustrate the
action (see sample image below).

I edited the screen icons in

Photoshop, by using social media
logos such as Twitter, and placed it
on the back of a Spurs shirt.

When I was creating my navigation

bars I had to zoom out of the default
Photoshop view/camera, from 100%
down to 50%, so I was able to see

the whole of the blue bar.

Occasionally I asked my peers and
my teacher for some assistance
when I was using Photoshop.

bars that I created so its at the size
that I needed it to be.
I edited the height of my screen
icons, and the left navigation bar and
the top navigation bar to get it to the
size that I wanted.
I used a tool on Photoshop, called the
eyedropper tool where you click on
the colour of a particular layer, and
you can use it on a separate layer. I
used this tool constantly throughout,
to ensure that I kept the colour of
navy blue in most of my assets that I
created.
The website will have the clubs
colours in the background, and to do
this I used the eyedropper tool in
Photoshop and created a new layer.
I set the transparency at the start of
making a new Photoshop document.

I didnt use aspect radio during the

creation of my assets.
When saving a document in

I put text in my left navigation bar,
my top navigation bar, the logo, and
the website title. To do this I clicked a
tool on the left which says T, and I
then drew a text box so I got the text
exactly where I wanted it, and then
typed the text in.
I drew lines to separate the
categories in my navigation bars, and
I did that by using the line tool on the
left hand side.
I didnt use the stroke tool when
creating my assets.
I didnt use the shape tool when
creating my assets.
When I was editing my navigation

the whole navigation bar. I used the
minus and plus key on the keyboard
to zoom in and out.

whilst creating my assets.
I didnt use the grid tool when
creating my assets.
