It is a pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Mr Makam Rama as a prospective student

for graduate studies in your university. I have known him for the past 4 years and have been the
tutor for Applied Thermodynamics, Metrology and Measurement, Aircraft Electrical systems,
Aircraft Instruments, Aircraft Structures I, Aircraft structures II and Operations Management
of his batch and have had many opportunities to observe him closely.
Some of his qualities have impressed me. He is committed towards work and has a flair for
learning latest technologies. He has a deep-rooted understanding of core subjects and intricate
concepts which make him stand out in his batch. He is one of those students who show a great
interest in doing projects. The varied number of projects he has done in his under graduation
make him well suited for further research in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
He very diligently undertook many projects under my guidance. A few Im particularly proud of
are, A Smart Autopilot Program for Complete Functioning of an Aircraft, Structural Analysis of
BLISK and a research paper on Composite Materials aimed at development of hybrid Metal
Matrix Composite materials by combining the desirable attributes of Metals, Ceramics and
Industrial waste.
With a strong aptitude and persistence, Makam Rama is a strong candidate for graduate studies. I
