Introduction:
The study of electrical motor drives begins with the
determination of a model of the both the power
conversion circuits and the machines that are to be
controlled.These models are used for analysis and
simulation of the drive systems.This laboratory will
axamine a dc machine supplied by two different dc
power conversion circuits.Thus,to start,the circuit
components of the dc machine model must be
identified and measured.

Determination of motors parameters :

The open loop model model of the dc machine with a


load torque modeled as a disturbance can be
represented by the following block diagram :

II.

Simulation :

Using simulink, we build the model of a dc motor


with the values derived in the above test
expirements :

2. Now, we do the model simulation with 220V as power supply


voltage.
This simulation provides us exactly with the same graphs
obtained above.
