Drones: Episode 25: Operation: Eternal Slumber

Trash slept silently while Nightmare watched over him from her bed. Trash had
decided to sleep on the floor the night before for some reason. Nightmare wondered
if she was losing her grasp over him when suddenly the door opened. Trash
instinctively awoke & lunged at the door but froze inches away from Omniominouss face as he entered the room.

Morning Trash Omni-ominous remarked as Trash slithered back to where hed

been laying before. Hes been acting strange since yesterday I am concerned
whether Trash is slipping away. Nightmare informed him. Have you tried getting
intimate with him? Omni-ominous asked as he raised an eyebrow.

Yes But he still keeps resisting Tellers will still linger I havent been able to
get further then first base She admitted. Then perhaps it is time we initiated our
plan before we lose him. Id say those drones have had a long enough time to say
their farewells Omni-ominous remarked as he turned around & left.

Did you hear that, Trash? The time has finally come. Soon you will be put to the
real test. Nightmare remarked. Trash glanced away. Hmmm? Why are you so
quiet? Surely you must have something to say? Nightmare asked as she got out of
bed. What isss there to sssay? Trash hissed as he kept his glance away from
Nightmare.

Oh come now If there is something on your mind, you know you can talk to me,
right? Nightmare asked as she sat down beside him. I trussst no one Not my
former friendsss & not you or Omni-ominousss. Ssso ssstop pushing me Trash
replied defiantly as he glared at Nightmare hostilely. Your dishonesty is amusing.
Nightmare giggled.

Trash huffed as he again turned his gaze away from her, blushing slightly. Hes still
giving you trouble isnt he? Nightmare asked with concern as she placed a hand on
Trashs claw. A bit Hesss quite ssstubborn. He doesssnt like what we did to that
boy, Erik. Ever sssinccce then, hesss been fighting me greatly for control. Trash
admitted grudgingly.

But he doesnt even know who that boy was. Nightmare remarked. He doesssnt
care Itsss the whole idea of the matter. He doesssnt like the thought of killing
othersss. Trash explained. Shall I help quiet him down? Nightmare asked. I think
it would be bessst Nightmare hissed. Nightmare placed her hands on both sides
of Trashs head & released dark waves into his mind, which helped Trash over-power
Tellers will.

If you need another dose, love, dont hesitate to ask. Nightmare cooed softly. As
she embraced him in her arms. Shouldnt we get ssstarted, like Omni-ominousss
told usss to? Trash remarked, trying to change the subject. If youre so eager to
see humanitys downfall, I guess we could do that Besides Well have lots of
time afterwards to have some fun, just the two of us. Nightmare remarked with a
sexually suggestive wink. Trash shrugged the wink off as the two of them got up &
proceeded out of the room.

*** Location Change ***

The whole world slept soundly as Nightmare & Trash appeared in an empty road.
Trash planted his large claw on Nightmare, & began injecting energy into her.
Nightmare then waved her arms & released a large aura that spread over the entire
world. Everyone who was sleeping began to toss & turn in their sleep as
Nightmares powers took effect.

The only two that were unaffected by the spell was Ruin & Violet, who couldnt enter
a deep enough sleep that would allow them to dream. As the Alter-world monsters
began walking the streets, an alarm in the academy sounded, waking up the two
from their slumber. Ruinous glanced over at Hawk who was still sleeping. Just as she
placed her hand on him in order to wake him, she jerked away. She could tell just by
touching him that something was horribly wrong.

Knowing that he wasnt going to wake up, Ruin left the room & began looking for
anyone else who might be awake. She was surprised to see Violet who had also
awoken from the alarms. Thank goodness Im not the only one awake! What in the
world is going on?! Violet remarked from under her hood. No clue But the others
seem to be unable to wake up Something Or someone has put them into their
current states & I have a hunch I know who! Ruin replied. Suddenly a loud bang
echoed through the halls, catching the two girls attention.

Looks like we have uninvited guests on our hands No doubt the minions of that
Wench, Nightmare Ruin noted as she & Violet transformed into drone form &
dashed towards the main room. As they neared the room they found the hallway
was filled with alter-world monsters. Surprise, surprise Looks like were the
Academys last line of defence Icicle remarked.

Devil closed her eyes as her armour turned pitch black with glowing red lines
moving across her plates. The lines seemed to dance around constantly. Ruin?
What are you doing? Icicle asked uneasily as the monsters neared her. Im
tapping into another power inside me She answered as she slammed her hands
into the ground. Suddenly portals formed all over the hallway as creatures began
emerging.

I call upon the monsters of myth, hear my cry & heed my call, come to our aid &
help us defend our friends! She chanted as the creatures took individual forms.
Standing in front of Icicle & Devil were Frankensteins Monster; A Vampire; A Harpy;
A Mummy; A Minotaur; A Centaur; Medusa; A Werewolf; A Swamp Monster; A Yeti;
Big Foot; The Headless Horseman; A Durahan Knight; A Group of Twelve Zombies; A
Band of Seven Goblins; & A Giant Mechanical Dragon.

What the?! How on earth did you do that?! Icicle exclaimed in disbelief. Tailor
Devils true power back before they came to our world Was controlling demons &
other monstrosities Well this world has its own monstrosities So all I had to do
was call to them! Devil replied. But thats not all I can also take on their abilities
too. She added.

As the Alter-world monsters charged, Icicle, Devil & the monsters also charged in.
Ruin! Go clear out the main lobby! Ill take care of these guys! Have the monsters
guard the others rooms, since they are all asleep, theyll need the protection! Icicle
yelled as the alter-world monsters & the drones & monsters clashed.

Devil nodded as she motioned to the stairwell. Following her motion, all the
monsters pushed back the alter-world monsters they were fighting against &
retreated to the stairwell that Devil had motioned towards. As the alter-world
monsters began following suit, a giant wall of ice arose, cutting all of them off. If
you all want through, youll haft to deal with me first! Icicle stated loudly as Devil
made her way through the group of monsters towards the main room. As the
monsters turned to go after Devil, another ice wall formed in their way.

As they began turning into shadow form, Icicle grinned. Suddenly all the remaining
surfaces also turned into ice. I told you, if you want to get by, youll haft to go
through me first! And when I say get by, I mean go anywhere. She repeated.
However, Icicle was not prepared for what happened next.

All the monsters suddenly began running into each other, growing inside as they
combined with each collision, until only one colossal alter-world monster was left
that towered over Icicle. The lone female swallowed hard as she stared up at the
towering enemy, who suddenly slammed its foot down with blinding speed &
surprising force. Even though Icicle jumped out of the way, the backdraft from the
impact alone threw her against the wall of ice that had been erected behind her.

Icicle fell to the ground in a heap, having been dazed. When she pulled herself
together she found herself pinned to the wall by the neck by the monster who
slowly raised her up, choking her as he did. Icicle struggled to fight against the
monsters grip. Even though Im a ghost If I die in this form Ill cease to be even
that I Need To Fight It She thought to herself, already beginning to
black out. Her past began flashing before her very eyes.

*** Location Change ***

Violet crawled slowly through a muddy alleyway, with nothing but rags to keep the
cold harsh winds from eating away at her frost-covered skin. She shivered from
hypothermia, ready to die. It was then that she was found by a group of teenage
boys. They didnt seem to notice her at all. Violet was starving, freezing, & was
desperate for help. She reached her hand out & gently tugged on the pants leg of
one of the boys, unable to stand up. The boy shook her hand off & paid her no mind.

Violet, misinterpreting the gesture as meaning the boy had just mistaken the
sensation for something else, she reached over again & pulled at his leg again. This
time the boy slowly turned his head & glared down at her coldly, with a look of
disgust that struck fear in Violet. Get lost! Worthless Street-urchin The boy
growled as he spat on the already freezing Violet. Violet began to tear up a bit but
struggled to overcome her fear.

PPlease H-Help me I I dont W-want To d-die She begged in a

cracked high-pitched voice. It was then that the boy lost his temper. IF THATS THE
CASE, YOU CAME TO THE WRONG PEOPLE! OBVIOUSLY YOU DONT TAKE A HINT!
WHEN I SAY GET LOST, YOU MAKE YOURSELF VANISH! SINCE YOU CANT DO THAT
YOURSELF, WELL JUST HAFT TO SHOW YOU HOW TO DO THAT! The boy roared as

he & the others took out various blunt objects ranging from lead pipes, to metal
baseball bats, to crowbars, to two-by-fours.

The group then began beating Violet senseless until she wasnt moving or speaking
anymore. To make sure that she was dead, the man that she had tugged on the
pants leg of, took his metal baseball bat & proceeded to bash the back of Violets
skull in. Seconds later Psyker happened to pass by the alleyway entrance at the
moment the boy landed the killing blow. Seeing the violence, Psyker entered the
alleyway from the sidewalk he had been walking down, & approached the group of
boys. His eyes flashed a brilliant purple as the walls around them began to twist &
turn. The boys glanced around, finally noticing Psyker. As one of them charged
towards him, the gang member suddenly blinked out of sight a few steps away from
where Psyker was.

HOW DARE YOU DO SUCH BARBARIC THINGS TO SOMEONE SO YOUNG &

INNOCENT? YOU DESERVE NOTHING LESS THAN TOTAL ERASURE FROM THIS
WORLD! Psyker bellowed furiously, as half of his face began to darken. On the
darkened side of his face, a purple energy developed, forming his mouth & eye on
the side of his face that the darkness had formed on. The energy that formed his
mouth turned into half of an insane smile, with the eye matching the same
psychotic look, while the other half of his face which was still human, maintained a
noticeably furious look. As he neared them, the same side of his body that his face
had changed on, also was enveloped in black energy.

As he drew closer, he reached out to the side with his dark energy hand & warped
the brick as his hand phased through it. As it passed through the brick, the wall
came to life, forming eyes & a mouth. WHAT KIND OF FREAK ARE YOU?! The gang
leader yelled in fear. THE KIND THAT IS IN CHARGE OF PUNISHING YOU FOR WHAT
YOUVE JUST DONE! THATS WHAT! Psyker yelled as another of the mans gang
members suddenly disappeared mostly from existence, leaving only the members
dismembered head behind, which fell to the ground & rolled off into a pile of
garbage.

The man & his gang turned to leave, only to find the other exit of the alleyway had
turned into a contorted monsters face. The monster suddenly shot out its tongue,
wrapped it around another of the members, pulled him in, & devoured him whole.
The ground turned around as the wall that Psyker had brought to life also did the
same to yet another member.

As the last of the gang leaders subordinates tried charging him, Psyker detonating
his brain, causing his head to explode. Psyker then reached out & grabbed the gang

leader by the throat. I. HATE. SCUM. LIKE. YOU. He uttered with seething rage, &
an un-tempered hatred in his eyes. He slowly began erasing the man from
existence, from foot to head until he was completely gone. With all of them erased
from existence, Psyker finally regained his sanity, just as the alleyway returned to
normal.

He kneeled down & wept for the small girl until he suddenly felt something in his
pocket. Reaching in he took out a crystal that was ice-blue & seemed to sparkle
almost as if it was snowing inside just like it was outside. Without any indication,
Psyker knew who the crystal was meant for. He closed his eyes & pushed it into the
body of Violet. He then sat down & waited patiently for the girl to come back. When
he had been sitting for an hour, he began to cry realizing she wasnt coming back.
He slowly got up & walked towards the street hed been on before.

P-Please Dont Leave me I I dont want to be alone A voice remarked

from behind him. Psyker turned around to see a girl beside Violets body who looked
almost identical to Violet. She was propped up & staring at him with oddly bright
light-blue glowing eyes. She was shivering & looked like she was starving. Psyker
rushed over & tried taking her into his arms but found that his arms seemed to
press into her differently than they would have if she were human. It was then he
realized just what had happened. Alright. Ill take you with me. He replied with a
nod. He picked up Violets dead body & left the alleyway, with Violets spirit
following closely behind.

*** Location Change ***

Psyker entered a shelter that had been made by various individuals. VINCENT!
YUKIKO! WE HAVE A GUEST! He yelled as he closed the door behind the spirit. Just
then, Yukiko & Vincent entered the room with Wisp following closely. About time
you showed Up? Wisp remarked as he laid his eyes on the dead body in
Psykers arms. I thought you said we had a guest All I see is a dead corpse
Wisp remarked flatly. Yukiko ran out of the room, with sounds of her throwing up
resounding moments later from the next room over.

No, of course not, this girl here is the guest. Psyker announced as he nodded
towards the spirit. Wisp simply glanced at the door then back at Psyker. What girl?
All I see is the door, & the dead body in your hands. Wisp remarked after a long
awkward pause. Alright Ill tell you what, help me put this body somewhere
where it will remain in its current state for the rest of time, then Ill explain. Psyker
replied after another long awkward pause.

Wisp shrugged & humoured Psyker. The freezer in Vincents room should do. That
thing is cold enough to cause an ice age if he leaves the door open for a single hour
alone. Wisp remarked. OH COME ON, ONE TIME I DID THAT! ONE TIME! Vincent
objected. Yea & we all know how that turned out. Wisp exclaimed in a monotone
voice as he & Psyker carried Violets corpse into the freezer. As the two opened the
door, a blizzard filled the room. They quickly threw the body into the freezer & shut
the door. By the time the door shut, there was already four feet of snow in the room.

Great Now Ill haft to wait for my bed to dry before I can sleep tonight! Vincent
grumbled as they left the room. Anyways, as promised Ill explain what I meant
earlier. Psyker announced as he reached out & put his hands on Violets spirits
shoulders. He then grunted as he struggled to focus his mental powers. Slowly
Violets form became visible to Wisp, Vincent, & Yukiko, who stared in shock &
amazement. I DIDNT KNOW YOU COULD MAKE PEOPLE! Yukiko yelled in pure
astonishment. I cant, but I can change matter that was only visible to one person
so that its visible to every person Psyker explained.

This is our guest I mentioned before. This is the spirit of the girl we just threw into
Vincents freezer, & now that weve done that. She should maintain her spirit form
for the rest of eternity. So whats her name? Wisp asked. Her name is Psyker
began, stopping mid-sentence when he realized he didnt know her name. You
dont know, do you? Wisp asked. I might have forgotten to ask... Psyker replied
as he scratched his head. What is your name, little one? Vincent asked as he
kneeled down in front of the girl.

Violet! She replied with a small smile. Its nice to meet you Violet! Welcome to
our humble abode. Vincent replied warmly. Suddenly the conversation was drawn
to a halt when Violets stomach growled. How do ghosts even get hungry?! Wisp
roared. The same way you do. Yukiko replied. Every living being needs
sustenance, Wisp, dear. Yukiko explained as she offered Violet her hand. Violet
reached up & took Yukikos hand & led her to the kitchen.

Wisp & the others followed Yukiko & Violet. Psyker walked over to the fridge &
opened it. He took out various foods & condiments. He placed them on the counter.
Wisp, I set the foods that can be heated up right away to the side, if you would,
please. Psyker stated as he pointed to various foods, mostly meat products.

Hmph Seriously? Why do we even have a stove if you get me to cook it all? Wisp
complained as he crossed his arms. Because we all are new to our powers We all
need as much practice as we can get. You may be experienced in combat, but you

are no exception when it comes to the drone powers we all hold. Plus you only
recently became a werewolf, did you not? Psyker explained.

Wisp grunted with a scowl. Psyker moved aside calmly as Wisp stepped forward.
Taking a deep breath Wisp let forth a dark flame breath onto the counter which
scorched it & the food on it. See? You scorched the table top. Not even you are
perfect at it yet. Psyker noted. SHUT UP! YOURE ONE TO TALK! YOU COULDNT
EVEN CONTROL YOUR OWN POWERS! IF ANYTHING, I BET YOUR POWERS WENT
BERSERK AGAIN! DIDNT THEY?! Wisp yelled.

Psyker hung his head. Moments later Vincent & Yukiko punched Wisp. That was
way out of line, Wisp! Vincent growled. You didnt need to be so harsh on him, he
is only trying to help us! Saying that was so uncalled for! Yukiko added.

No Hes right My powers did get out of hand again When I saw what the
punks had done to Violet I lost it completely half of me was consumed by my
dark drone side & I slaughtered half of them before erasing all of their remains
from existence Psyker admitted quietly. Psyker Its not your fault You are
the youngest of the four of us, yet youve been trying the hardest Not just as a
drone, but as our leader as well. Vincent pointed out. Thats just it What kind of
leader kills people because he cant get a grip over even his own powers?! What
right do I have to help you all with your own powers when I cant even control my
own?! Psyker cried as he glanced up at them with tears in his eyes.

There is one thing you are forgetting unlike the rest of us You possess a dark
drone inside you. Of course you would have trouble controlling your powers That
thing makes everything harder for you. Yukiko agreed. But Psyker croaked,
when suddenly Wisp slapped him. Shut up! You know we all picked you to lead us
for a reason! I may hate to admit it But despite your lack of control over your own
powers None of the rest of us have as many qualifications to lead as you do. So
what if you cant control them now? Youll learn. We all will. But you got to remain
confident, otherwise everyone else will also lose their own confidence. Youre our
leader; that means we draw our confidence from you! We look to you for guidance!
Wisp exclaimed with a stern look in his eyes.

Psyker closed his eyes & sobbed. No one said being leader would be easy, but
youre not alone anymore, damn it. None of us are. So lean on us when you haft to.
Vincent grunted as he patted Psyker on the head. Psyker nodded & dried his tears
with his sleeves. Thank you Wisp Psyker replied as he sniffled. Anytime
Wisp responded with a nod.

Ill handle the rest of the cooking from here, if you all want to go get a room ready
for Violet, I should have things ready by the time you get back. Vincent announced.
Alright Oh, & one more thing, Vincent She seems to be ice-oriented So Im
guessing she will eat ice rather than food, being a ghost & all Psyker informed
him. Alright. Ill make sure to make something shell love. Vincent remarked with a
smile & a nod as he began cooking the food.

Yukiko, Wisp, & Psyker lead Violet over to a staircase. The group walked down the
stairs into a hallway that had been dug underground. The hallway was lit with
torches. Sorry its so dirty, but right now this is all we can afford at the moment
Psyker admitted as he led Violet down the hallway. The four of them stopped in front
of a door that Wisp opened.

Inside was a bare room except for a lone bed. Feel free to furnish it however ya
like. Wisp remarked in a slightly friendly tone of voice as he & Violet exchanged
glances. Violet closed her eyes as her body pulsated blue. Suddenly she loosed an
ice breath that blasted the entire room, almost instantly freezing everything in the
room. Violet smiled as she walked into the ice covered room. Well Looks like she
already has some basic abilities. I like her attitude She seems like a fast learner
too. I think shes going to be one heck of a member. Wisp noted with a warmhearted chuckle.

Violet smiled as she glanced around the room, but her smile slowly faded as she
hung her head. Hm? Whats wrong Violet? Psyker asked as he walked over to the
girl. I was kicked out by the only family I had I had a big sister & Ill never
get to see her again Violet remarked as she began crying. Well, youre part of
our family now. I know Im no big sister But if you want, Ill be your new big
brother. Psyker interjected as he offered Violet his hand. Violet stared at him with
wide eyes which only filled with more tears. She threw her arms around him & broke
into sobs. Psyker merely wrapped his arms around her & gave her a pat on the
back.

Weve lost our families & loved ones too, in one way or another. I was kicked out by
mine Wisp left his, Yukikos died, & Vincent has no family So youre not alone
Psyker admitted. Yukiko & Wisp also joined the two, giving them both a hug too. We
are all family here Not by blood But rather because we understand how we all
feel. Yukiko explained. I I want to learn too I want to be like all of you Violet
sniffled.

Im not sure you can Being like us isnt all that easy although you have a
drone crystal You havent yet formed a pact with it Psyker noted. A Pact? Is

that what it was called? Icicle remarked curiously. Wait What do you mean it?
Psyker asked as his skin turned pale. Violet Did you hear a voice in your head?
Wisp asked as the three stepped away from her.

Mhm! She was really nice! She offered to bring me back to life, so I could live
again! Violet answered with a smile & a nod. She also told me that when I needed
to protect anything to call on her with the word Chill! Violet remarked when
suddenly she transformed into drone form. Psyker, Wisp, & Yukiko leapt back in
surprise. She really did make a pact already Yukiko remarked in awe.

Violet What did the voice say its name was? Psyker asked curiously. It said her
name was Clover. She replied. Then that would make her current form that of
Icicle. Alexis noted as she formed beside Psyker in her purple fire form. Clover
Or as we called her, Chloe, for short, was the daughter of Samantha Moisture.
Samantha Moisture was the wife of Ricky Port, the leader of our group back before
our world was destroyed. Sadly He has not surfaced yet Nor has Chloes mom,
Samantha Very few have surfaced It is probable that theyre out there, dormant,
waiting for individuals they can form pacts with. Alexis explained.

So she doesnt have her family either? Icicle asked becoming notably
melancholy. Afraid so. Alexis answered as she frowned. Icicle put her hands over
her chest & closed her eyes. Her eyes opened suddenly when she felt Psyker in
drone form wrap his arms around her. Then maybe it is all the more fitting that she
ended up as your spirit. You both can understand each others pain entirely, which
obviously would provide you with an edge. You see, the more spirits relate The
better they work together. Given that you two are in such similar positions, means
that you both can relate almost completely to each other. Psyker explained.

Is that so? Violet remarked quietly. So here you all are! Vincent told me Id find
you all down here! He also said we have a new member? A voice remarked from
the doorway of the ice-filled room. Icicle glanced over at the door to see a teenage
man standing by the door. Ah, Cameron! Welcome back! How did things go?
Psyker greeted the man. It was hard Ripp is still having trouble adapting And
he seems to have joined a new class today He also has already made two new
friends Teller Ladson & Angel Sakariba. Cameron explained. WAIT! ANGEL
SAKARIBA?! Icicle exclaimed in shock.

Ah, you must be the new member Vincent mentioned. Cameron remarked. DID
YOU SAY ANGEL SAKARIBA?!? Icicle repeated adamantly. Yes Why do you know
that girl? Cameron asked. Yes Icicle remarked as she hid her face from them.
My full name is Violet Sakariba Angel Sakariba is my older sister She admitted

to the group. So thats why you seemed so shocked It truly is ironic You see
Ripp Todwell is the younger son of Camerons here. In simple terms, your older
sister, has become friends with Camerons younger brother. Psyker chuckled.

Actually Ripp was here not even a week ago. He attacked his parents who were
performing unhuman experimentation. We had to seal something inside him, so we
had him stay here for a while, while we did that. Once that was done, we decided to
erase his memories of being here & send him to live with a friend of Camerons, who
happens to also be Ripps teacher. Wisp explained.

So hes still struggling with the memories? Psyker asked. Yes Having no one left
is incredibly hard on him & me Why cant we let him stay with us? Cameron
asked. Because its too dangerous. Unless you forgot, his parents have been
creating more & more alter-world monsters as of late. If they are not stopped This
world will be consumed by madness, death, & destruction. Psyker replied before
sighing heavily. Cameron hung his head. Im sorry its so hard on the both of you,
Cameron Psyker admitted.

Its Fine Im just glad you let me stay even though I have no drone powers to
offer the group. Cameron responded. Although you may not have drone powers,
you do have something else that is irreplaceable: knowledge of what your parents
were up to before Ripp forced them into hiding. Wisp pointed out. While the group
was talking, Icicle was forming furniture from the ground by making the ice rise up
into the various shapes she desired.

We should go see that guy whos making food! She interjected once she was done
playing around with the ice. Psyker glanced over, noticing her work. Yea Vincent
should be done by now. Cameron, lets continue this conversation upstairs. Psyker
exclaimed, to which, Cameron nodded. With that settled, the group headed back
upstairs.

As they neared the top, they smelled an overwhelming smell of various gourmet
foods & dishes. Smells like Vincents done it again I envy his ability to create so
much exquisite food from almost nothing. Cameron remarked. As they exited the
stairwell, they were greeted by a table filled with numerous foods that each looked
as appetizing as the next. It looks delectable, Vincent. Good job. Psyker
complimented as the chef bowed.

I aim to please. Vincent replied graciously. Violets eyes were fixed on the food &
she was drooling so much that a puddle had already formed on the floor by her feet.

I had a special dish prepared just for you, Ms. Sakariba. Vincent announced as he
removed a cloth covering a large mountain in the middle. Underneath was a large
ice mountain with carved rivers flowing in it, the ice seemed to sparkle & had
frosting on it. There were even dragons carved into it, making it look like they were
flying around the mountain. Some of the ice had also been coloured to make special
effects, such as red & green ice for the dragons & dark blue for the ice rivers. The
mountain was made of red & orange ice to give it a volcanic look.

Violet seemed hesitant. Is it all ice? Violet asked uneasily. Yes. Were you still

Yukiko smacked him off his seat for saying.

Violet hesitated momentarily before taking as big a bite out of the ice as she could.
As she did, something happened that caught Psykers attention. As Violet drew back
& opened her eyes, Psyker could swear her eyes were glowing blue, though the
glow quickly faded.

Well how is it? Vincent asked. Its Delicious I never knew ice could taste so
good! She replied with a look of awe in her eyes. Thats because youre not
human anymore. As we said, you are an ice ghost. Ice ghosts get nourishment from
devouring ice. As such ice tastes better to them then it would to anyone else.
Psyker explained.

So Its taste really has changed now that Ive been brought back as a A
ghost? Violet asked timidly. Yes. Though it isnt a bad thing. It will be harder for
others to kill you again now that you are a ghost. Cameron answered.

Violet began eating the ice feverishly. Looks like she was starving Good thing you

down the stairwell. Vincent frowned. He has so many regrets & yet hes only nine
years old Vincent mumbled.

HES NINE?! Violet yelled in shock. Yes Hes incredibly mature for his age
because of how he was kicked out of his house by his parents once they found out
he had gained his drone powers. Shortly after I met him. After wandering around for
a month, we met Yukiko & Wisp here. Vincent explained. And then three months
later they all met me & Ripp. Cameron added.

Psykers. Vincent replied. Violet left her seat & ran down the stairwell.

Then I want to remake the world! Violet objected. Thats a big goal for just one

appeared out of a portal. VIOLET! WHERE IS WISP?! She yelled frantically. Hes

special jalapeo chilincineration gumbo. Violet noted. PSYKER & VINCENT FOUND
A DRONE THAT NEEDS HELP, THEY TOLD ME TO COME GET BACK UP ASAP! WHERE
IS WISP?! Yukiko shouted. Hold on. Violet noted as she reached her arm through
a portal. Moments later she pulled it out with Wisp in hand; he appeared to be
rather annoyed.

I hope you both have a very good reason for disturbing me in such a manner as
this. Wisp growled through clenched teeth. Psyker & Vincent found a robot that
was remodeled by a drone crystal. They are currently fighting a small army of
incredibly powerful robots that are trying to recapture her! Yukiko yelled urgently. I
cant believe you guys cant handle a bunch of metal toasters without having to get
help. Wisp snarled. Arent you the least bit concerned? Someone may need help!
Can you really just ignore them like that without at least taking a look? Violet
objected. Tch! Ugh! Fine, whatever! Wisp grumbled. Yukiko led Violet, who was
dragging Wisp behind her, through a portal.

*** Location Change ***

When Yukiko, Violet, & Wisp exited the portal they found Psychic & Baker along with
a girl they didnt recognize, fighting a horde of robots that seemed to be using
various abilities on them. Violet, Yukiko & Wisp promptly went drone & joined their
two comrades. Did we miss the party? Angelic asked as she, Icicle, & Vampiric
struck the robots, cancelling their abilities & freeing their allies from the onslaught.

No, the party is just getting started! Psychic replied as he threw two of them back.
This here is 6UL-NTRQRC She seems to have been remodeled by a drone crystal
that found its way into her systems. Baker introduced. Is that name supposed to
stand for-?! Icicle trailed off. Affirmative The robot replied in a half robot, half
female voice as it punched a robot away. Well that wont do at all! Well come up
with a better name for you later! Angelic interjected. I KNOW! LETS CALL HER
RUIN ARGUS! Icicle interrupted hyper-actively.

No we are not calling her Ruin. Vampiric objected flatly. Identification

Registration: Ruin, complete. Ruin remarked. DAMN IT! I JUST SAID WE WERENT
GOING TO CALL YOU THAT!!! Vampiric yelled angrily. Its her decision, not yours,
Wisp. Angelic reminded him. Vampiric growled in frustration before opening his bat
claws, & unfolding the wings along his wrists. His eyes shone a fiercer red as his
fangs extended slightly. The hair on his face & down his rose up & took on a spikey
appearance.

Looks like hes really mad! Angelic noted fearfully. EVERYONE BACK OFF! STAY
AWAY FROM HIM! Psyker warned as they all moved back, away from Vampiric.
Vampiric charged at the robots in a blind rage & began slashing at them with his
claws. He began using the wings on his wrists to deal extra slashes, making so
many swings that the air began to swirl from the speed of his blows.

Vampiric sliced five robots to pieces & dashed for another. As he reached his sixth
target he grabbed it in his mouth, sinking his fangs into it. He then swung his head
back & forth, whipping the robot wildly in the air, before letting go & sending it
flying.

Vampiric breathed heavily as his body slowly reverted to normal. Huff huff!
Ugh! Vampiric gasped, falling onto one knee as he breathed heavily. Already out
of steam? Angelic called out. No something is wrong one of them is
draining my drone energy and my stamina Vampiric warned them. WHICH
ONE?! Icicle asked worriedly. IF I KNEW, I WOULD HAVE DISPOSED OF IT BY NOW!
He yelled when suddenly a giant fist burst from the ground below him, sending him
flying. The ground suddenly began breaking apart as a gigantic robot emerged from
underground.

IS THAT THE ONE?! ITS MASSIVE! HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO STOP SUCH A
THING?! Icicle yelled despairingly. Stand firm, team! We cant let it take Ruin back!
If it does Who knows what will happen to her! Psychic commanded. The group
waited for the robot to make a move, when suddenly all of them were blown back as
another robot materialized in front of them, unleashing a tornado blast. Ruin, Baker,
& Angelic were hit the hardest, losing consciousness as they hit the ground.

Psychic & Icicle however, resisted the attack, though Icicle was severely wounded.
What the? I I cant move! How is This possible? Icicle groaned in shock.
As the robots approached Psychic moved in front of Icicle, even though parts of his
armour had been destroyed & blood was visible from underneath. Icicles eyes
widened. MOVE! OR THEYLL KILL YOU! Icicle yelled desperately. I wont let them
harm you! I swore Id protect you! Even if I die I wont stand by & let them hurt
you... As long as I can breathe Psychic grunted.

Icicle blushed as tears formed in her eyes. PSYKER ITS NOT WORTH IT! Icicle
screamed. Yes You are If they destroy you in drone form Youll die
permanently I may not have been able to save you the first time But I made a
vow to protect you from dying a second time If it means I will die doing so ILL
GLADLY DO IT!!! Psychic yelled as suddenly his whole form was consumed by
darkness. His whole facial expression became twisted. A completely psychotic smile

spread across his face as his scleras turned purple & his pupils turned blood red.
Black lines formed throughout his scleras as his skin transformed into black energy.
Purple electricity began crackling around him.

This form my soul feels like its seen it once before Icicle noted as she
stared at her shaking hand. Is It trying to tell me its Scared of this new form?
Is that what my bodys trying to tell me? Icicle murmured as she glanced back up
at Psychics full dark-drone form.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! It cackled as it leaped up & vanished for

only a split second, reappearing upside-down beside the giant robots head in midair. It then put its hand on its head which suddenly began to twist & contort before
exploding without warning, causing the robot to fall backwards lifelessly. As the
robot that had blasted Icicle turned its attention to him he warped it into the space
in front of him. He reached out & grabbed the robot by the chest.

Congratulations, youve had the honour of being the toy of the fiercest dark drone:
Dementia! He cackled as it then ignited the robot with a pitch black flame before
causing it to explode. Dementia then appeared in front of Icicle & reached for her
but hesitated when he saw the fear in Icicles tear-filled eyes. Please! Dont hurt
me! Please! Icicle cried in fear as she struggled through her pain to move her
body away from the dark drone as much as she could. Guh! Why Why cant I
make you go boom like all the others?! It grunted as it struggled to regain its
senses. I DONT WANT TO DIE! Icicle cried as her eyes widened with terror.

She began crying hysterically. JUST GO BOOM LIKE THE REST! It yelled as it
reached for her, only to be blown aside by another robot. This robot seemed humanlike in form but had an aura about it that was different from all the others.
Interferers will be terminated. Target will be apprehended at all costs! It stated in
a robotic voice as it approached Icicle. It raised its arm which had a cannon built
into its palm. It began charging the cannon as it approached her, but was blasted
back by Psychic whod returned to normal. Icicle slowly faded into unconsciousness
as Psychic once again moved to shield her.

*** Location Change ***

Violet awoke with a start in a fancy bed she had already been bandaged up. She
lifted the covers slightly & noticed she wasnt wearing any clothes. Im glad youre
finally awake again Psyker exclaimed from her bed side. PSYKER! She yelped
with a start as she covered herself with the blankets. There is no need to be shy I

already saw it when I was tending to your wounds. He exclaimed with a smile.
Violet turned light red. You saw me Without anything on? She asked meekly.
Yes. I felt responsible for bringing you into that fight, I wanted to be the one to tend
to you personally. Psyker admitted as he frowned & hung his head shamefully.

He raised his head when he heard Violet crying. I Was scared I I thought
You were really I thought you were really going to kill me! She sobbed while
hiccupping repeatedly. Psyker moved from the chair onto the side of her bed, & took
her into his arms. Im sorry I scared you I, too, was scared of what my dark side
was going to do to you Thats why Ive locked it away for good. Psyker explained
as he held her tight. Psyker Violet murmured misty eyed.

I was scared of being unable to regain control before it was too late I tried to
protect you when I regained control But that last robot He overwhelmed me
The only reason we won is because he left without taking Ruin And I dont even
know why Psyker admitted as he also began crying.

Psyker I Violet paused hesitantly, blushing slightly. Im sorry I couldnt

protect you when it counted most Not from the wind mech not from my dark
side not even from that last robot Psyker admitted as he cringed. It doesnt
matter! Because Because! Because I Psyker, I I LOVE YOU! Violet screamed
with all her might, which shocked Psyker. You Love me? Psyker muttered,
dumbstruck by her words.

Y-Youve always been looking out for me Even though you have so many
pressures you still treat everyone kindly You risked your life to save me even
when I asked you to forget about me Unlike everyone else in my life, you refused
to do that I cant deny it anymore Not to you, not to myself I love you more
than just a sibling. I dont care what happens Ill do anything you want Just
please dont leave me Violet cried passionately through her tears.

Violet closed her eyes as her tears began to fall faster. She cringed as her heart
ached from the agony of the potency of her feelings. Even though I failed to
protect you when it mattered most? Psyker asked sorrowfully. Violet didnt respond
vocally, but instead, through action. She reached up & kissed him on the lips with
her eyes closed. Psykers eyes widened with shock. He struggled at first, but he
quickly stopped & reciprocated.

I dont care if you failed or not you put your life on the line to save mine thats
what matters to me She whispered quietly as she drew away from his lips. Ill do

anything for you just please stay with me for the rest of my life Violet
begged. Alright you win Psyker replied. Then do it with me! Violet urged
with pleading eyes. You mean? He paused hesitantly. Violet nodded. It will be a
secret Just between you & me She exclaimed. Alright He agreed as Alexis &
Chloe materialized. Do you, Psyker Atom agree to enter the pact with Violet
Sakariba? Chloe asked. I do. Psyker replied. And do you, Violet Sakariba, agree
to enter the pact with Psyker Atom? Alexis asked formally. Of course I do Violet

fine for three whole days straight Though I doubt it will be that long. She replied.

efforts. Violet nodded as she stared into his eyes passionately. Alright Then for
the rest of today you are mine, & I am yours. Psyker whispered softly.

Violet sat on the roof of the run-down building in the middle of night, staring up at
the night sky, her choker having become almost invisible, it was so faint that no one
but she & Psyker could make them out. It was a precaution taken to hide their

relationship from the others, & had worked perfectly. Violet would often run her
hand along the letters of Psykers name when no one was around & would stop when
she sensed someone approaching.

him. Yea Its soothing to me She remarked as he jumped up & joined her.

remarked as he sat down beside her. Did you hear from Psyker? Were moving to a
new building tomorrow Wisp remarked.

Yea Though Ive kind of gotten used to this one Violet remarked. Ive noticed
you havent been your same old self lately Wisp noted. The days seem to get
hotter & hotter I feel like Ill evaporate if it keeps up like this Violet explained.
Come to think of it We never asked When is your birthday? Wisp asked
curiously. I dont have one. Violet answered so quietly that Wisp could barely hear
her.

Well, that wont do. Ill talk with Psyker & see what can be done about it. Even a
pipsqueak like you needs a birthday. Wisp grunted. Wisp Why are you always so
mean & grumpy, even when youre trying to be nice? Violet asked as she glanced

was given as best I could. Eventually I was drafted. I didnt want to go, but I was
forced to. While serving, I made a friend among the soldiers. He & I got along
great But then On one of our missions We were helping some civilians escape
from a war zone when a bomb went off. Both he & the civilians died in the
explosion Leaving me as the only survivor. No one knew of my survival since I left
without telling anyone. I couldnt bear staying there after having lost him Ever
since then Ive been this unhappy, grumpy, man that you know now. Wisp
explained as he watched the moon, emptiness visible inside his eyes.

such emotional pain, & I didnt notice I never realized just what kind of person you

from behind them both. Wisp & Violet turned around to see Kelphi staring at them.
We would, if we could see the moon from there But we cant, which is why were
here instead of there. Wisp grumbled as Kelphi joined them.

Are you excited about getting a new home, Kel? Violet asked eagerly. Yea, I
guess A home is a home But its hard moving from a place youve lived in for
such a long time. Kelphi admitted. Violet nodded in agreement. Well Im going to
head back before Yukiko notices Im gone. Wisp remarked as he jumped down off
the roof. Alright sleep well! Violet replied, waving good bye. Pleasant dreams!

Violet asked distantly as she watched the sky, almost as if in a trance. I think of

I think of many things like how would my life have been if I hadnt been kicked
out of my home? What it would have been like if I hadnt died? I think about to
the snow I was laying in as I drew my last breath It always reminds me of how cold
& cruel this world has been to me & yet all I can do is look up at it & wonder
why I haft to be the one to endure all this? I wonder why I need to wear these

sister...? I think about all the things I want in life & try to figure out why I cant have

Violet blushed profusely as she glanced at him with her plum-coloured eyes. Why
would you be interested in something like that? Do you have a thing for me or
something? Violet asked hesitantly. No. But I would like to stop these rumors if
they are indeed fake. I hate people who spread gossip just for the sake of spreading
gossip. Plus Im kind of curious Kelphi admitted.

While Cameron is nice No. Im not romantically interested in him. I have my

eyes on someone else Violet answered quietly. So you dont have a crush on
him, but you do have a crush on someone else? I see Alright. Then Ill get rid of
those rumors when I find out where theyre coming from. Sorry to make you feel so
uncomfortable. Kelphi replied.

admitted as she fumbled around nervously. No, not at all! It wouldnt feel right if I

The choker around Violets neck became visible as a tear rolled down her face as
she struggled to breath. I I cant die yet That day he took my virginity He
transferred something to me Something I didnt want to release But if its the
only way I can survive So be it! Icicle croaked as she stared at the alter-world
monster with a mixed look of fear & hatred in her eyes.

She tensed up & closed her eyes as a chilling darkness filled the room. Slowly the
monsters arm began freezing over from his hand up to his shoulder. Slowly Icicles
body began to change. Her ice began turning a much darker blue as the snowflakes
faded from her body.

Her eyes turned completely black, with no other colour inside them. Her dark blue
plating turned pitch black while her ice coated armour grew spikes that pierced the
monsters frozen hand. Ill Release The dark side He gave me And make
sure You never leave this Room alive She grunted, struggling to maintain her
self-control & her sanity as she transformed into dark drone form.

Her body began emitting a chilling mist all around it as the temperature in the room
dropped suddenly, & kept dropping rapidly. The monster struggled to move as its
body began freezing more & more as the ice began building up around it. She
reached up & with her bare hands, shattered the creatures entire wrist, freeing
herself in the process. The monster was so cold & numb that it couldnt even roar in
agony from what shed just done.

Icicle held her hand out as the air around it froze, forming an ice sword. You were
made of many little monsters, right? Well Lets see how many youll break into
when Im done with you She remarked coldly as her dark side began taking over.
She approached the monster with a violent look in her eyes. A cape of ice began
forming from the air behind her. With each step she took, a patch of ice was left on
the ground where her foot had touched.

I am the dark drone with no name I was born from nothing I am... nothing
And I will eventually fade away back into the nothingness that I was spawned
from But before that time comes I will enjoy torturing you slowly until I am
bored After which I will end your so called life. She remarked coldly as Violets
control finally gave out. As it did, a cold & uncaring aura enveloped the dark drones
ice-composed body.

She raised a foot & slammed it down creating an icicle wave that ripped through the
monster. She held out her hand & clenched it, causing the spikes of the icicle wave
to extend to gigantic proportions. Geez Its no fun if I cant even see your pain
Hmph Im bored with you already, anyways She remarked cruelly as she
punched her blade clean through the ice, severing it & the monster inside at the
same time. She then inhaled all the ice around it & exhaled, launching it all in the
forms of millions of tiny ice spears.

The monster was pierced by the spears until nothing of it remained that could even
vanish from existence. The dark drone scowled. Pitiful Not even its death proved
even the slightest bit entertaining I crave suffering I crave to inflict Suffering!
She hissed venomously as she slowly began proceeding towards the main room
where Devil had gone.

*** Location Change ***

Devil fought against five of the giant alter-world monsters that Icicle had just
dispatched. When suddenly the room began freezing up. Devil began slowing down.
What Is going on? Ive never felt such a rapid drop in temperature My

systems Are freezing up She exclaimed, her voice beginning to crackle with
static.

As one of the monsters charged towards her, he was buried as a large chunk of ice
fell from nowhere, crushing it underneath the massive weight. The impact made the
whole academy shake violently. One of the monsters backed away when suddenly
its chest exploded from within as ice burst forth. It fell over before vanishing,
leaving a large spear of ice behind. The other three glanced around, when suddenly
one of theirs heads exploded. Slowly Icicles dark drone form climbed out from
inside it. I crave Carnage She growled hostilely as icicles formed on her back
which then launched at one of the two remaining monsters.

The icicles pierced through the monsters body & then expanded in size until it tore
the monsters body asunder, after which the icicles melted away with the creatures
body. Icicle? Devil muttered in shock. The dark drone winced at the mention of
the name. Dont Call me By that Name She growled. The final monster
charged towards Icicle who scowled at it. Icicle held out both her hands which froze
over with ice that took the shape of a giant claws. She then formed a large ice
mallet. As the monster approached, she whirled around so fast that the ground all
around her froze as she swung the hammer in a circular motion. The hammer
slammed into the monster so hard that he disintegrated on impact instantly, leaving
nothing behind.

GREAT WORK, VIOLET! NOW WE CAN BREATH EASY! Devil called ecstatically. I
told you Dont call me that Dont Call me anything All I Want to hear Is
The sound Of bones being crushed! She roared as she lunged in a circular motion
around the room, towards Devil. Devil barely raised her guard in time to block
Icicles blow, which sent her skidding into the wall. As she regained her focus, Icicle
was already bringing her hammer down again on Devil. Devil leapt to the side to
avoid being smashed.

STAY STILL SO I CAN CRUSH YOU! Icicle bellowed angrily as she held the hammer
up which transformed from a hammer into a trident-like spear with an elongated
middle spear & thrust it at Devil. WHY ARE YOU ATTACKING ME?! VIOLET NEVER
SAID SHE HAD A DARK DRONE SIDE! Devil cried as she jumped back in order to
dodge the strike. SHE HID A LOT OF THINGS! BUT THATS NONE OF YOUR
CONCERN! The dark drone spat. Devil took notice of the choker around the dark
drones neck but couldnt make out whose name was on it.

ILL SHOW YOU THE TRUE POWER OF ICE! the dark drone growled. As large
golems formed from the frozen floor, each holding various weapons made of the

very material they, too, were made of. You know ever since I became a drone
Ive questioned what my powers really were my weaponry or the power to
summon creatures but now I think I finally realize My power Isnt supposed
to be something I should haft to choose between Instead Devil remarked as
she closed her eyes.

She held out her hands which then began forming dark grey armour with black
plates appearing over her chest. Her fingers turned to claws which then separated
slightly as the metal underneath lit up a dark reddish-purple. Her head grew long
black horns while her canine teeth grew longer & her hair grew messier & longer. All
the other parts of her armour also separated ever-so-slightly, emitting the same
glow between the new crevices as the ones her arms were now giving off.

Armour plating formed around her visor, connecting it to her chest armour. Large
metal wings sprouted suddenly from her back while a long pointed tail emerged
from her backside. Long flaming feathers sprouted all along her wrists, protruding
from the black armour while large bolts formed along her upper back which began
crackling with purple electricity.

A large broad sword formed which she then grabbed & spun in her fingers as she
weaved it back & forth skillfully before gripping it tightly & thrusting it firmly into
the ground. Bandages formed around her legs with a piece flapping in the wind at
the bottom of both legs. A large missile launcher formed over her right shoulder
while she grabbed a large hand-held ion cannon that formed in the air with a single
hand.

The whole building shook as she opened her eyes which now shined white, black,
purple, & red. I should combine both my abilities rather than choose between
them. She announced as she vanished from sight, leaving only a large indent in the
ground where her broadsword had been. Devil appeared in the air & swung her
broad sword while launching multiple missiles from her shoulder-mounted missile
launcher. The sword released a large energy wave that severed all the ice creatures
at the torso. Their upper halves were then incinerated by the missile salvos.

Icicle charged towards Devil in a blind rage but Devil reacted faster than Icicle had.
Demons Wrath! Devil remarked as she vanished once again. Icicle stopped &
surveyed the area when suddenly Devil began assaulting her from out of nowhere.
Devil delivered multiple sword strikes while also slashing at her with her claws. She
then punched Icicle into the ground, took aim as she pulled out her ion-cannon
which shed put away when she vanished, & let loose a massive charged shot along

with a large missile salvo of consisting of Bombardment, Homing, Napalm,

Penetration, Hollow, & Cluster missiles.

All the attacks bombarded Icicles dark form creating smoke with each impact as
flames & explosions emitted around her. Devil paused & waited for the smoke to
clear. When it did, she was shocked to find Icicles dark drone form cracked, but still
standing.

My turn. The dark drone spat as she gathered all her golems weapons around
her, which she manipulated through telekinesis. She then lunged at Devil with all
the weapons following her. She smacked Devil back with her large hammer into a
spear that had been positioned behind her. With Devil skewered on the spear, Icicle
slashed at her with an ice sword & a large ice scythe while bombarding her with
icicles & ice bullets before launching shurikens at Devil. She then grabbed an ice
shield & bashed Devil into the ground. As soon as Devil hit the ground, Icicle formed
long ice claws & landed with a tremor right beside Devil & delivered a series of
powerful slashes, before delivering a powerful blow with a large ice gauntlet that
sent Devil flying yet again. Devil then found an ice whip wrapped around her leg
which Icicle used to slam her into another wall repeatedly.

Icicle cackled maniacally as she bashed Devil into the walls repeatedly when
suddenly the whip was severed by an unknown force. This stops now. A twisted
voice exclaimed as Devil slowly rose from the ground. As she got to her feet her
form seemed to shatter entirely & reform on the spot, taking the form of a pitch
black armoured winged demon with a red aura & scarlet markings. Her scleras had
become pitch black while her pupils seemed to glow red ominously. Her claws had
returned to being regular hands but her pointed tail & black wings remained, though
the wings now were black feather wings as opposed to her previous bat-like ones.
She wore very little clothing, though all her attire blended in with her now-pitch
black skin. Her hair had also been bleached black.

What are you? Icicle asked in a monotone voice. I Am Ruins true drone form
And you Are an eye sore! It remarked before blinking out of sight. Devil suddenly
slammed down on Icicle from above like a shadowy comet with enough force to
shatter the dark drones armour in a single blow.

Devil hovered in the air over Violets unconscious body with emotionless eyes. I
guess Im the only one still awake for the time being Devil remarked when
suddenly the object around Violets neck caught her attention with its glinting in the
light of the rooms lighting. She touched down to the ground & moved in closer to
have a better look at it. She was able to make out that it was a drones marriage

choker, but was unable to make out the name before the object vanished from sight
mysteriously.

A choker? When did Violet enter a relationship? More importantly who did she
enter it with? Devil remarked aloud as she pondered the answer to the question.
Maybe it has something to do with how she developed a dark drone side? Devil
murmured as she picked the sleeping phantasm up in her arms & carried her away
from the room theyd fought in.

*** Location Change ***

Ripp was having a pleasant dream when suddenly it went dark briefly. As he looked
around, he suddenly found himself in a large white empty space, as all the
members of the academy also materialized inside the large space. One by one,
other people also began materializing in the world. Whats going on? Yoko
exclaimed as she glanced around. I was having a somewhat pleasant dream until
just now Wisp grumbled. Rauk-Shao Theyve made their move Psyker
warned as they all gathered together.

Are we even able to go drone in this world? Kari asked curiously. That is the
least of your worries Nightmare has put everyone in the world to sleep & while
were here We cant do a thing to protect our physical selves Riuka admitted.
Well Welcome everyone I have no doubt you all must be confused. Allow me to
explain what is going on. Nightmare announced as she formed out of the ground.

She towered over everyone who was gathered. You all have been put into an
eternal sleep. One by one, you all will die as your real bodies are devoured by my
minions. Think of it as a guessing game, of whos going to die next, rather than the
fact that eventually you all will end up dead. She explained in a wicked tone.

Youre crazy, lady! Someone shouted. Who said that?! Nightmare growled. No
one seemed to answer. If you have the gall to insult me, THEN HAVE THE GALL TO
TAKE YOUR PUNISHMENT! She bellowed as she attempted to crush a group of
people under one of her massive fists. Picking on the defenseless? Shame on you
Konako Warp remarked as he held Nightmares claw up with one arm. Dont you
dare call me by that name! My name is Nightmare! Queen of the Dark Drones &
Ruler of This World! She growled.

Queen this! Behemoth retorted as he grew to her size & punched her in the jaw.
Nightmare suddenly turned into Angel, causing Behemoth to hesitate. Everyone
however saw Nightmare for what she was, which caused them confusion when
Behemoth hesitated to attack her again. COME ON PUNCH HER AGAIN! Riuka
yelled. BUT! Behemoth remarked, only for Nightmare to shatter her illusion &
strike back at Behemoth. Behemoth fell over as people scattered to clear the land
below him.

Nightmare, we challenge you to a battle! If we win, you stop this insanity & free
everyone, with no strings attached! Rauk-Shao yelled as the academy members
behind him donned their armour. Playing the tough guy, eh? Alright But if I win
I get to take that girl & all the members on your team that possess dark drone sides
as my prize. Nightmare remarked as she pointed to Warp, Psychic, Vampiric,
Entoxica, Chimera, Shadow, & Sound.

Wait You mean Psyker, Wisp, Hawk, Ciarra, & Mako also had dark drone sides?
Rauk-Shao exclaimed. I locked mine away long ago When it almost killed
Violet Psyker admitted loudly. Wait When did that happen? You never told us
about that! Vincent exclaimed in shock. It happened when we were rescuing Ruin,
after you all had been knocked out. Psyker explained. We also plan on taking that
other dark drone of yours The one who couldnt be brought into this world.
Nightmare cackled. Leave her out of this! Psyker yelled angrily. Who are they
talking about, Psyker? Vincent asked curiously. Its Its not important right
now What matters is that they want to take even more of our friends, brainwash
them, & turn them against us all. Psyker pointed out.

I refuse to let you take Mako! Fade objected, causing Shadow to glance over in
surprise. Riin He muttered under his breath. Same with Ciarra! Enchor chimed
in. Chimera glanced down at him but remained silent.

Im sorry but we refuse the... Rauk-Shao began replying. YOUR ON! Sound
interrupted as she launched a sonic blast at Nightmare. The blast slammed into
Nightmare but didnt do a thing to her aside from knock her back. NALLA?! WHAT
DO YOU THINK YOURE DOING?! Rauk-Shao yelled. Look, man-kinds survival is on
the line, here. Sacrifices need to be made if we are to prevail! Sound argued. Oh,
one more thing! While this battle is taking place, you are to call off all your
monsters! Youre not allowed to kill anyone until this battle ends! Sound added.

Pfft, Fine Have it your way! She scoffed as she snapped her fingers. Suddenly
Trash formed by Nightmares feet. But I get to summon my team to assist me in
this battle in exchange. She cackled as Omni-ominous also materialized.

Soon you will be playing for our team as well, Ripp Todwell! As will the other six of
you! He announced as he drew two large black energy broadswords. Wait The
other Six? Sound exclaimed in shock. Of course! You didnt really think we
wanted you just so we could rape you, did you?! You, too, possess a dark drone
within you. One that has remained dormant in you from the moment you were
abandoned! Nightmare explained with a twisted mix of excitement & pride. In
your dreams! Like Ill let you take any of us as your prize! Warp growled as he
clenched his metal claws into a fist. Oh there is one more rule to this battle. Its
only to be a three on three battle. Nightmare giggled maniacally. WAIT WHAT?!
Vincent shouted in outrage.

You heard me! The three of us versus three of your members. Nightmare
repeated. Im not letting anyone stop me from going. Warp announced. Ill back
you up. Rauk-Shao added as he formed his armour. Im also in Cat announced
as she joined the two. Heat & Warp glanced over in shock at Cat. YOU?! ARE YOU
SERIOUSLY SURE ABOUT THAT?! They both exclaimed in disbelief.

Yes. I should have realized sooner what pain Teller was going through But I didnt
& because of that He wound up becoming that Nightmares play-thing! Pounce!
She growled as she transformed from Cat into Tiger, shocking everyone. SINCE
WHEN COULD YOU DO THAT?! Warp remarked. Ive learned way more than just a
new transformation She admitted with a sly grin.

Does anyone object if the three of us go up against them? Heat asked loudly. No,
we have faith in you three! Show em what were all made of! Wind cheered. Then
I hope you wont mind if the rest of your friends watch from another realm of
being. Omni-ominous remarked as he swung his hand through the air. Suddenly
everyone both drone & non-drone turned into orbs & vanished except for Tiger,
Heat, & Warp. WE DIDNT AGREE TO THAT! BRING THEM BACK! Warp roared.

No! This is how the fight will happen & if you dont like it, we can just forget the
whole thing & continue with man-kinds extermination, instead! Nightmare offered
coldly. Heat threw his axe at Nightmare which ignited on fire in mid-air. Trash moved
into the air to block it but was driven into the ground by Tiger. As Omni-ominous
formed beside her, ready to slash at her, Warp launched his gauntlets at him,
knocking him back.

The axe slammed into Nightmares face with enough force to knock her off her feet.
As she fell backwards, Heat materialized behind her out of a burst of flames & drove
his drill-arm into her back. Trash reached up with his claw but found both his claw &

hand were severed off before he could even see how Tiger cut them off. How have
you become ssso powerful?! Trash hissed as he regenerated his limbs. My desire
to regain my loved one saw to my growth! I WONT LEAVE WITHOUT TELLER BY MY
SIDE! Tiger roared as she drove her claw into his chest.

Tiger was suddenly blasted back by a dark junk explosion. You came a long way
jussst to meet your end, little girl. Trash spat as he aimed his claw at her. Im not
a little girl anymore Or do you not even remember? When I used to be so
small Did you forget already what you said when you almost lost me, Teller? You
said the scariest thing you could ever think of is a life without me in it. You said I
meant the world to you & that you wanted me to always be here in your life
because I brightened your day more than any sun ever could... You said you wanted
to spend the rest of your life with me! Tiger yelled.

Trash winced as he grasped his head with his hand. Shut up, you ssstupid girl!
Jussst meet your demissse already! Trash hissed as he launched a junk blast at her.
Heat teleported in the way & blocked the blast. You are using all the power you
have for all the wrong reasons Teller You too, Junk. Heat announced.

Sssilence! It doesssnt matter why I got thessse powersss, or how I should be

usssing them! All that mattersss is that thisss world burnsss! Trash yelled as he
slammed his claw into the ground & removed a larger than normal chunk of rock. As
he threw it, he found it shattered in his face. Heat shattered the explosive that Trash
had planted inside the rock in his grip. If anything is going to get burned, you can
bet Ill be the one burning it! Heat growled as he kicked Trash back.

Tiger! Nows your chance! Teller is as close to re-awakening as hes going to get!
Heat yelled as he dashed to the side. Trash stared at Tiger who retracted her claws
into her arms. Out of the slits they vanished into, emerged claws composed of light
energy. Her body became illuminated as her eyes were swallowed in a blinding glow
of white light.

Time to get purified! Tiger yelled as she blinked out of sight. Suddenly Multiple
slashes formed in Trashs armour. Trash let out a bellowing roar of pain as dark
energy began emanating from the cracks. Suddenly it shattered revealing a bloody
& bruised Teller who bore scars all over his body. TELLER! Tiger yelled as she
wrapped her arms around him. Nightmare & Omniominous growled angrily as they
shook with hatred. HOW DARE YOU INTERFERE WITH OUR TEAM MATE! Omniominous roared as he lunged at Abra. NO! Heat yelled as he pushed Teller & Abra
out of the way just as Omni-ominous thrust his blade at them.

Heat froze as the blade pierced his armour clean through. Since you took one of
our members Its only fair we take one of yours. Farewell Dear Heat! Omniominous spat as he swung the sword to the left, ripping it through Heats body. Heat
fell to the ground as blood sprayed out. NOOOO! HEAT! Warp yelled as he dashed
towards Omni-ominous & Heat.

Since you are no longer a participant You shall take the side-lines along with that
infernal pest of a girl! Omni-ominous snarled as Heats body & Tiger turned into
orbs of light & vanished like all the others had. Warp finally reached Omni-ominous
& upper-cut him with all his might. A small crack formed in Omni-ominous armour
where Warps fist had made contact.

As Nightmare tried to squash Warp, Warp grabbed her by her hand & threw her over
his shoulder. While Omni-ominous & Nightmare were stunned, Warp transformed
back into Port & activated his crystal core, transforming into the form hed gotten
from absorbing Medics powers. He then healed Teller up & helped him to his feet.
Im sorry Teller whispered as he hung his head in shame. Now is not the time
Theyve gravely wounded Rauk-Shao & are ready to kill all of man-kind I never
wanted you to become a dark drone because it means embracing your darkest
emotions Port explained as he transformed back into Warp.

But right now I think its a fitting time for both of us to embrace those emotions
& make these two pay for what theyve done. Warp growled as a powerful aura
suddenly erupted around him. His eyes became a deep scarlet red, while a black slit
formed vertically down the middle of both eyes. His armour suddenly grew razors all
over the outsides while a long dark aura formed behind him in the shape of a tail.

They will pay for using me to hurt those I love most! Teller roared as a dark aura
formed around him as well. Slowly he transformed into a new form. Four long scrap
metal wings formed on his back while his body formed legs as well as his long usual
tail. His claw seemed to pulse with an aura even thicker than the one around the
rest of his body. His body gained black markings along its dark red & brown armour.
His mouth opened as his canine teeth became as long as a saber tooth tigers. His
eyes became exactly the same as Warps while his scales became dark brown.

What on earth?! Their power levels just spiked immensely Its so high I cant
even measure it all! Nightmare remarked as she got up, watching the two new
dark drones. They must have been holding back their full power this whole time
This cant possibly end well for us Omni-ominous remarked. Warp teleported his
fist, which grabbed onto Omni-ominouss arm.

DARK CRYSTAL CORE! Warp roared as his form began transforming, while the claw
attached to Omni-ominous self-destructed which blew him back considerably. As he
skidded across the floor like a rock skipping across the waters surface, Warp formed
in front of him, which large knight plates over his armour & two large shadow
broadswords in his claws.

Warp crossed the blades & formed a gigantic shadowy energy blade in the air &
brought it down on Omni-ominous who was still flying. The blade pinned him to the
ground, & was slammed down on him so hard, that it ripped right through the
amour. As Nightmare was about to move to aid her ally, the new form of Teller
formed in front of her. Proto-Trash You wouldnt hurt your love, would you?
Nightmare asked innocently. Im Trash, not Proto-Trash My only love IS ABRA
ALLANA ABAKAN!!! THE ONE YOU TURNED ME AGAINST!!! He yelled as he aimed
his claw at her.

Nightmare held her arms up to guard but nothing happened. When she finally
opened an eye to see what was happening, she realized he was gone. She glanced
around but still couldnt see him. It was then that a chill ran down her spine. She
slowly glanced up. Floating in the air, charging the biggest orb of dark energy shed
ever seen, was Trash. Sayonara Bitch! Trash remarked as he released a Cannon
blast with a width the size of a city block. Nightmare screamed as the beam
slammed into her head-on.

Chunks of the ground below her began to rise into the air before vanishing as the
energy incinerated them. When the laser finally subsided, there was a hole in the
ground two kilometers deep. Nightmare lay at the bottom of the hole. Nightmare
struggled to recover from her daze, when she felt something clamp around her leg.

She slowly glanced down at her leg, which had a large claw clasped around it with a
chain connecting to it. She followed the chain up to the source, which was Trashs
elbow. That was just the beginning. You are far from having paid for what you did.
He growled as he retracted his claw as fast as he could. As his claw slammed back
into his elbow, he whirled Nightmare around so as to keep the momentum hed
created from retracting his claw, & flung her back towards the ground.

As Nightmare neared the ground, Trash formed a field of junk spikes below her,
which ripped through multiple portions of her body. Trash then detonated every
single last spike, causing a blanket of explosions to brighten the sky. The force was
so great that it shattered the dream realm causing everyone to awake from their
sleep except Warp & Trash who formed in the street opposite from Omni-ominous &
Nightmare.

We must retreat, NOW! Omni-ominous yelled to Nightmare. Like well let you get
away again after having killed Erik, & harming Rauk-Shao without punishment? I
THINK NOT! Warp yelled as both he & Trash grasped the two dark drones by the
necks. Omni-ominous & Nightmare shook in fear. Warp & Trash drew their arms back
before thrusting it forward as hard & fast as they could, delivering a massive punch
that sent both Omni-ominous & Nightmare flying through multiple buildings & a
bank vault. Trash & Warp then turned & ran back to the academy as fast as they
could.

*** Location Change ***

Warp & Trash entered the medical ward where they knew they would find Rauk-Shao
& the others. Sure enough, they found him in a bed where the rest of the others
were. Rauk-Shao looked like he wasnt far from death, the wounds hed received in
the dream world were still visible. Lopp sat by his side clasping his hands as tears
streamed down her face. PLEASE, DONT LEAVE ME! She begged through tears as
Warp & Trash joined the group. Im Sorry But you deserve Someone better
than me He coughed.

GGrinder Extract my crystal please Rauk-Shao asked as he weezed. The

cloaked figure walked over & put its hand on Rauk-Shaos chest. Rauk-Shao yelled in
pain as the figure extracted the crystal from Rauk-Shaos chest. Lopp Take care
of Heat for me He requested as he motioned to Lopp. The figure gently handed
her the red crystal that had been taken out of Rauk-Shaos body.

Please! Dont go I cant bear to lose you again! Lopp sobbed as she hung
her head against his hand. Im afraid I cant do that This is One wound that
cant be healed Besides Its time the academy Received a new leader He
whispered. Riuka Ruusa Rauk-Shao coughed. Yes Sir? Riuka responded as
he joined Lopp by Rauk-Shaos bedside.

In recognition of your leadership of the Dark Liger mercenaries as well as a

constant beacon of hope to those around you I hereby name you as the new
leader of this academy Rauk-Shao announced. But Sir! How can I possibly lead
the whole academy?! Riuka asked, uncertain of his qualification for the job.

I have faith in you I wouldnt have chosen you Had I thought you werent
the best choice...? Besides Rala still cant tell when Nalla is serious & when

shes joking Rauk-Shao remarked, chuckling which ended in a coughing fit.

Rauk-Shao-san No Please! She cried out as she squeezed harder. RaukShao slowly closed his eyes as tears rolled down his face. Im sorry to leave you
with such pain My Loppity But never forget Youre never alone Ill always
Watch Over You Rauk-Shao whispered before passing away. Everyone tensed
up as tears washed over everyone, including Wisp.

Its my fault I told him he was unfit to be a leader Its all my fault Casper
sobbed as he hung his head in shame. No, its no ones fault Rauk-Shao gave his
life purposefully to save Teller & Abra No one is to blame Riuka argued,
struggling to fight back his own tears. Lopp continued sobbing silently, something
that bothered Riuka. He knew she was bottling her feelings up.

I hope you all will excuse me for changing the subject, but I was wondering
something Lexus remarked. What is it? Riuka exclaimed. I heard that light
drones are supposed to die after purifying dark drones So, why is it that RaukShao is the only one that died? Shouldnt Abra also be dead right now since she
purified Teller back in the dream world? Lexus inquired.

Because we discovered she had a larger than normal energy level. Because of that,
we had her under-go special training that allowed her to purify one dark drone
without dying from energy loss. It takes her a large amount of time to regenerate
that energy though. Psyker explained. So basically, she alone has the power to
purify the other dark drones without giving up her life? Willson exclaimed in awe.
Psyker nodded silently. Thats amazing!!! Willson remarked in pure joy, when
suddenly he was blasted out of the room by an unseen force.

HOW CAN YOU ALL ACT SO HAPPY?! SO UPBEAT?! RAUK-SHAOS DEAD!!! Wind
bellowed as multiple spears hovered in the air behind her. Riuka reached up & took
Wind in his arms. Wind fought against him as her armour began falling apart. After a
minute, she stopped struggling against him & buried her head in his shoulder. Riuka
reached up & put his hand on the back of her head.

Man & I thought things were bad when I kicked the bucket A voice remarked
from nearby. Everyone except Lopp glanced around looking for the source of the
voice. Who said that? Warp asked when the group couldnt find the source of
the voice. Hmmm I guess my voice has changed since you all last saw me
Grinder replied as he lowered his hood.

Staring at the group was a mixture of both Shadows & Warps faces. What or who
on earth are you!? Willson exclaimed. Mind introducing me, Janelle? It seems they
cant recognize me Grinder noted. Janelle walked over & joined Grinder.
Everyone, it brings me great joy to re-introduce Erik Zan, who agreed to be the
subject used for the Grinder experiment. Janelle announced.

Everyone stared in disbelief, except for Kari who was bawling her eyes out. Grinder
glanced over at her & gave her a smile. I thought Id never see you again! Do
you have any idea how much grief you caused me?! Kari growled through her
tears. Grinder hung his head. Do you have any idea what Ive been through just to
stand here before you all now? Grinder replied. Kari ran up to Grinder & slapped
him across the face.

ERIK YOU! YOU! JUST GO BACK TO THE AFTER-LIFE! SEE IF I CARE!! Kari
screamed through her tears before running out of the room. Grinder reached up &
put an over-sized gloved hand over the slap mark, he appeared to be in shock.
Night approached Grinder who glanced up. Im sorry I didnt mean to Grinder
began to apologize when Night suddenly punched Grinder in the gut. Tell it to
someone who cares! Night growled as he walked out of the room angrily. Grinder
fell to his knees & clenched his chest.

He began crying, not because of the pain from the blows, but from the pain of Kari &
Nights words. Janelle walked over to help him but Wisp held his arm out in front of
her. This is something he must deal with, himself. He muttered softly as he closed
his eyes & hung his own head. Suddenly Wisp was blasted off his feet by a column
of DNA strands. You do not have the right to decide that! Janelle roared. Janelle &
Lopp both helped Grinder up.

You all should be ashamed of yourselves! He died, & he is welcomed back like
this?! You all seemed so sad when he died SO WHY ARE YOU TREATING HIM SO
CRUELLY NOW THAT HES ALIVE AGAIN!? IF RAUK-SHAO WAS HERE, HE WOULDNT
STAND FOR SUCH TREATMENT! Lopp yelled angrily before blasting everyone
present except herself, Janelle & Grinder off their feet & into the walls with a
cyclone.

DONT THINK FOR A SECOND THAT JUST BECAUSE HES GONE, YOU ALL CAN TREAT
EVERYONE HOW YOU ALL PLEASE! IF YOU ALL DARE TREAT ANYONE CRUELLY, ILL
ACT IN RAUK-SHAOS PLACE & PUNISH YOU ALL ACCORDINGLY!!! Lopp roared.
While everyone struggled to recover from the blow; Lopp, Janelle, & Riuka guided
Grinder out of the room.

*** Location Change ***

Janelle & Lopp walked with Grinders arms over their shoulders while Riuka followed
them silently. Grinder also remained silent, it was obvious he was still hurt by what
the others had said to him & how theyd treated him. When I see those two next,
they will wish theyd kept their mouths shut! Lopp growled, fuming with rage.
What happened that could make them hate me so much Did I do something
wrong? Grinder wondered aloud as he stared at the ground with empty eyes.

Janelle & Lopp both glanced at him with sympathetic eyes. They helped him into
Hawk & Ruins place, & up into the lab. There, Riuka helped him into a large tube &
began attaching various cables to him. Once they were attached, the three closed
the tube which then filled with water. Lopp stared up at him as he went to sleep in
the water, while Janelle sat down at the computer & began typing. Riuka leaned
against the wall opposite the tube holding Eriks new body.

You know He came back with a different mission than the one hed gone out
with Janelle remarked loudly after an hour of silence. Lopp turned around &
glanced over at Janelle. What do you mean? What mission? Lopp asked. Isnt
it obvious? Rauk-Shao had me start this project It was him who initiated it
Janelle admitted. Rauk-Shao? He had you revive Erik? Why? Lopp asked as
she glanced back up at Grinder. Because he knew what the outcome of the battle
with Nightmare would be He knew that we wouldnt be able to avoid conflict with
them, without losing at least one life... So he planned to ensure that if anyone lost
their lives It would be him & him alone. Janelle answered quietly, which caused
Lopp to glance back at her with horrified eyes. He knew he was going to die?!
Lopp asked.

He talked with Phantom & Psyker There was no possible outcome that would end
any better with that in mind Rauk-Shao decided this was the best situation. In
short not only did he know he planned it Janelle answered as she turned
ninety degrees in her chair & glanced over at Lopp. He had me revive Erik so that
he could take his place as your guardian Although if you ask me, youre doing a
better job at being guardian than he is so far Janelle remarked with a slight grin,
though a hint of sadness could be unmistakably detected in her voice as she turned
her chair back towards the computer. As Janelle went back to work, Lopps glance
slowly returned to Grinder, a new look in her eyes as she watched him sleeping.

Hes My new guardian? She wondered in her head. She glanced down at her
hand as she reached into her pocket & withdrew Heats crystal. ...Okay The

regenerative process is complete Janelle declared as she pressed a button. As

she pressed it, the tube opened up, causing the water inside to spill out.

Lopp used her powers to contain all the water in an orb of wind which she then
crushed as she compressed the wind. The orb exploded as a beautiful mist filled the
room. Grinder slowly opened his eyes as all the cables suddenly detached from him.
He fell forward, but found that he was embraced by Lopp who was hovering in the
air. You came back to care for me yet youve already endured such pain lopp
whispered as she shed a tear from her closed eyes.

Janelle watched silently, not smiling or frowning. No one deserves to be alone I

didnt want you to suffer when he passed on so I agreed to under-go all the
experiments with only the thought of comforting you to keep me going He
whispered as he gently wrapped his arms around her. You should be able to
choose a human form to take on using your scanning ability, Grinder. You can pick
anyone you want. Janelle notified him. Ill let Lopp decide what form I take.
Grinder exclaimed.

Cant you take the form you had before you died? Lopp asked curiously. Sadly
no That form was lost when I passed on Its the only form I cant take He
explained. If you want, I can take Rauk-Shaos form Grinder offered. Lopp began
sobbing & shook her head. Well, he will need to assume someones form He cant
remain in his current forever, his energy will eventually run out if he does. Janelle
explained.

I think I can help with finding a suitable human form for him to assume Riuka
offered as he glanced at the doorway with his arms crossed. Before you both go I
have a question to ask Eric er, Grinder... You agreed to become my guardian
right? Then will you help me find a way to bring Rauk-Shao back? Lopp asked
quietly with her head hung as she gripped Heats crystal in her hand.

Lopp try to be realistic Janelle objected. She is Surely you dont think there
isnt some way to bring him back, yourself, Janelle. Riuka intervened. Janelle fell
silent. And what will you do if no such way can be found? Grinder inquired.
Then Id like my new guardian to take in my old guardians drone crystal If he
is alright with that Lopp answered.

Ill think about it while Riuka & I are gone Ill give you my answer upon our
return I wont say yes until then, but I also wont say no, either. Grinder

responded before following Riuka out of the room, leaving a silent Janelle & a
depressed Lopp.
