Exciting News from the Lopez family!

Dear Friends,
We are so excited to share with you what God has been doing in our lives. It is
so fun to look back, because, for me, looking back is often easier than the
living through it and reflect on the goodness of a God who never leaves us
where we are. A God who always whispers come, beloved, come.
Sometimes those whispers are welcomed and other times, not so much. If
youre anything like me, sometimes hiding is easier than following His call. As
we pursue more of His love and trust in who He is and the plans He has for us,
we are lured by the whisper that calls us to the place that birthed the story of
our family. The place just across the ocean where God calls come. Its ironic
that while He was sending me to Guatemala 13 years ago, Vinicio was putting
down roots in Atlanta, leaving that life behind. All the while, preparing our
hearts for one another and the work that He would call us to, Guatemala.

As I look back on the last decade since returning from the Guatemala mission
field, I am so grateful for those experiences and how they have shaped me into
the woman I am today. Good experiences, hard experiences, ugly experiences;
experiences that called me to into a deeper pursuit of the heart of the Father.
And now we look forward toward a new season in Guatemala.

Whats next?
Our family will be joining Commission To Every Nation as long term missionaries
partnering with Wisdom and Grace Christian School in Santo Tomas Milpas
Altas, Guatemala. Commission To Every Nation (CTEN) exists to Help ordinary
people partner with God to accomplish the extraordinary. They will accept our
donations, receipt every gift and send year-end tax statements. They will help
us print and mail newsletters. The most attractive thing they offer is pastoral
care. We have been assigned a pastoral care couple who will see to our health
while on the field, both spiritual and emotional. They start by building a
relationship/partnership with our home church and will visit us on the field.

Wisdom and Grace Christian School

This Christian school was established more than 20 years ago to provide holistic education based on the Word of
God; to prepare the children for this life and eternity. The school currently serves 380 children from Kindergarten
through the 12th grade. We have been invited to serve with them as they build a new school and church building to
reach 1000 families. Vinicio is excited to return to his country to use the gifts that God has given him in construction.
His experience and ability to speak both English and Spanish will be a tremendous asset to the school as they host
teams from the U.S. desiring to partner in this project. I will serve as the Team Coordinator as well as providing
counseling to students and families in crisis.

What we need
We would like to invite you to partner with us in the transformation of lives through the ministry at Wisdom and
Grace Christian School. We believe the impact of this ministry will reach far beyond Santo Tomas Milpas Altas into all
of Guatemala. We believe God is raising up out of this school future leaders who will lead with integrity like never
before seen in this country.
We believe that God invites all of us to participate in missions as given in the Great Commission Therefore go and
make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and
teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Mt 28:19. Some He sends and others He calls to be
senders. Has He called you to be a sender?
Would you please pray and consider financially partnering with us in this ministry? Would you be willing to give a
monthly gift of $25, $50 or $100? We welcome any special one -time gifts to help with our start-up costs of pre-field
training, travel, purchase of a car and the costs of establishing a home in Guatemala. CTEN will begin accepting
donations for us immediately and will distribute the money as the need arises. We will continue to work our fulltime
jobs until we are fully funded and ready to leave for the mission field. NONE of this is possible without prayer!
