Remove and Replace the Lamp

The lamp (LP240: SP-LAMP-005, LP250: SP-LAMP-007) fits inside the projector, and is
protected by the lamp door. You access the lamp from the bottom of the projector.

1 Place the projector upside down on the work surface.

2 To remove the lamp door, slide the lamp door toward the front of the projector.
 3 Loosen the three captive screws that fasten the lamp module to the projector. Then lift the
module out of the projector using the built in handle.

Assembly Note
♦ If you install a new lamp, you need to reset the lamp counter.

a. Turn the projector on, then press Menu on the remote control or the keypad.
b. In the Main menu, select Settings.
c. In the Settings menu, select Service.
d. In the Service menu, select Lamp Reset.

The lamp timer resets itself to zero.

e. To verify that the lamp timer is reset, select About on the Main menu. The lamp hours are
listed in the About box.
