Notes:
Some PLC members liked that this year during genius hour we have the same kids each day
and easier for attendance and locating students; other suggestions for this time included:
*high school students could be assigned a middle school genius hour period for tutoring
*graduated release of students from 2nd hour so breakfast line goes faster
*study skills class and/or ACT Prep classes offered

We shared ideas for differentiation in our classrooms: level of questioning is different for
different students, different expectations for different students, group work, peer tutoring, hands
on applications, direct instruction, use of tutorial videos, rewording of directions, chunking of
concepts, use of technology.

Questions we had:
When will practice tests be available and who is proctoring those with the students?
Who is proctoring actual tests with the middle school?
Will the students need the login information for practice tests? Who is responsible for that?
Are there specific performance tasks/problems that need to be done in the classroom before
taking the test, like there was when we piloted the Smarter Balance for the middle school?
How will students be seated in the computer lab? Fidelity? Concerns for distractions?
Will our Tech people be available if a computer doesnt work?

7. Is the Badger test timed?
