Man of the Match

Thommo/Fewelly

Kellyville did over Dundas today, It could have

been.....it was done before it even got started?
They were done like a dinner? All done and
dusted? They all would have been appropriate
instead we are left to talk about staying between
the flags???!!!
The beautiful skills and finishing of Naya, Doz and Vic
were overshadowed by one moment.....
A corner during the first half led to Vic having a discussion
with Harry over how and where to kick a ba#. Clearly Vic
didnt feel anybody was listening so decided to give everybody a
demonstration - using the corner flag! As the corner past
cartwheeled up the field, unfortunately he also clipped the ba# at
the same time, so was le& standing there as the rest of us chased
back to defend.
Game wise - Kellyville were a little flat but patient.
Dundas were backing up after their midweek 6-4 loss and
were always going to run out of legs. Doriano took a shot
that deflected in to start the scoring midway through the
first half. This goal has gone to the Dubious Goals
Committee (so click on the link below). Another one to
Vic gave us a 2-0 lead at the break.

NEXT MATCH
v CH White

The second half, saw Naya rewarded for his excellent

recent form. He broke away twice turning players inside
out. His finishing was expertly placed shots that left the
keeper with no chance.
Vic also scored a break away from half way, after
beating the high oside trap and finishing nicely. At least
with this style of goal and player, everybody has time to
see the finish....in fact they have time to run over, grab
Alex chair, set it up, grab a drink, take a seat and watch
the goal slide in. (Maybe Naya should slow down so the
crowd gets a chance to see his???)
The sealer was a tap in from a metre from Doriano,
after Vic had blasted in a free kick from 30 yards.
This report could have been all about Fewelly, but his 4
headers from point blank with no marking were tough to
finish. Nobody should expect a tap in header, or a header
under the crossbar or a floating ball at the back post. At
least we know hell try and try again...
Bolty and Vlad, dont forget Vic has to start next week
so he can get that hattrick he stayed on to finish.

Coaches Corner.....
Good coaches watch their team play....great coaches trust their team and leave early to
go out and dont even ring up to find out the score (...sometimes this looks like they dont
even care and sooky sensitive players carry on a treat...)

National team, has run an 11 sec

new talent in 1991 - hes now the
