1. Computer

An electronic device for storing and processing data.

2. Desktop

an area or window on a computer screen in which small


pictures (called icons) are arranged like objects on top
of a desk

3. Icon

An icon is a small graphical representation of a program or


file that, when clicked on, will be run or opened

4. Shortcut

A shortcut is an icon that points to a program or data file.


Shortcuts can be placed on the desktop or stored in other
folders, and double clicking a shortcut is the same as double
clicking the original file.

A bar located at the bottom of the screen. The Taskbar allows


the user to locate and launch programs through the start
button or view any program that is currently open.

Computer hardware is the collection of physical parts of


a computer system. This includes the computer case,
monitor, keyboard, and mouse. It also includes all the parts

motherboard, video card, and many others.
