BASIC SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATION

I.

School Attendance and Punctuality.

a. Attend classes regularly.
b. Notify the teacher promptly if absence is unavoidable.
c. Avoid cutting classes.
d. Notify the teacher accordingly when cutting classes is due to
illness or other unavoidable reasons.
e. Be in school at least 10 minutes before the time.
f. Get inside the school grounds upon reaching the school; avoid
loitering around.

II.

Flag Ceremonies and Retreat

a. Take part in flag ceremony regardless of your sect.
b. Stand erect and join the singing of the national anthem and the
recitation of the Panatang Makabayan.
c. Sing the anthem and recite the pledge clearly with feeling.
d. Look at the flag intently as it is raised or lowered.
e. After the flag ceremony, proceed to the room quietly in an
orderly manner; leave the school ground in the same manner
after the retreat.

f. When assigned as a monitor or cleaner, come on time to

participate in the flag raising ceremony.
III.

Behavior in the Classroom

a. Come to class prepared for the lessons.
b. Use polite form of speech at all times.
c. Bring your own school materials.
d. Listen attentively at all times
e. Wait for your turn to recite.
f. Return books, chairs and other equipment after using them.
g. Start and finish work promptly.
h. Do your best in any assigned task.
i. Avoid disturbing other children while working.
j. Keep all work clean, neat and orderly.

IV.

Behavior in the School Grounds in the Corridors

a. Observe bell signals strictly.
b. Pick up pieces of papers.
c. Use trash cans and receptacles properly.
d. Avoid any forms of gambling.
e. Refrain from destroying plants and trees, climb fences and gates.
f. Avoid the use of obscene language.
g. Get in line promptly when the bell rings.
h. Observe silence and orderliness when passing to and out of the
room.
i. Avoid loitering the corridors before the time; go home promptly
after dismissal.
j. Keep away from the rooms when classes are in sessions.

V.

Use the School Facilities.

a. Toilets
1. Keep seats, washbowls and floor clean.
2. Flash the toilet after using it.
b. Drinking Faucets
1. Use drinking faucets properly; avoid using them for washing
purposes.
2. Keep drinking faucet clean.
c. The School Canteen
1. Patronize the school canteen.
2. Return utensils and other equipment after using them.
3. Keep the school canteen clean
4. Throw pieces of papers/wrappers in the trash boxes/cans.

VI.

Behavior during Programs.

a. Report to the place of assembly on time.
b. Wait quietly for the program to start.
c. Observe silence when number is going on.
d. Clap hands properly to show appreciation for a number.
e. Avoid whistling, stamping of feet and other boisterous act.
f. Pass out of the assembly place quietly and orderly.

VII.

General Rules.
1. Dress appropriately and neatly.
2. Greet teachers, elders and other children politely.
3. Be cheerful.
4. Respect all school personnel.

5. Be helpful and cooperative.

6. Wait for your turn.
7. KNOW THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE SCHOOL AND
OBSERVE THEM.
