What was meaningful to you in the lecture? 2, What help did you receive from the notes? SECOND DAY: Read Revelation 4:1-8. 3. Who do you think is the one sitting on the throne, how is He described, and how does this expand your view of God and of worship? God was stted on the throne. In this verse God is described as holy and magnificent. This passage has expanded my view about as puresholy and he is only and only God to be worshiped none other than him. 4, a, Who is siting around the central throne, and why were they wearing white and crowns? (There are various ideas.) The saints and prophets. They were wearing white and crowns as a show of purity and authority . What kind of crown is promised to those who believe in Jesus Christ, and how does this encourage you today and as you look toward your etemal future? (See I Corinthians 9:24-27; 2 Timothy 4:7-8; | Peter 5:4; James 1:12.) Those who believe in Jesus Christ are promised an everlasting crowns one that doesnt fade. This encourages me that no matter what i go through in life ifi keep faith and believe in Jesus Christ, i will have enternal life THIRD DAY: Read Revelation 5. What sights and sounds are coming from the throne, and what does this tell you about God's character? The sight of wonders and sound of trumpet. This tells me that God is wonderful and Holy 6. Other prophets also received a vision of heaven. When comparing Revelation 4 with Exodus 24:9-11, Isaiah 6:1-7 and Ezekiel 1 (and other passages you may know), what similarities do you find? In All the scriptures God is deseribed as Holy From God's throne the sound of trumpet is played. The 24 elders are worshipping GOD because He is Mighty and He created all things 11. 11, What is the primary activity in this view of heaven, and how does seeing heaven this way affect your daily attitudes and activities? The primary activity is to worship God. Having seen how the Heaven look like i am more motivated to worship God more and deeply believe in His word 12, What needs to change in the way you approach the Lord to make your worship more God-centered? My attitude needs to change towards God also i need to dedicate more time to God SIXTH DAY: Review Revelation 4. 13. What is the most challenging or inspiring thing you learned about God this week? How may your group pray for you as you make this truth a part of your life?
