Bengaluru On 22.12.2015 International Institute of Business Studies in
collaboration with Rotary Club R T Nagar Bangalore had organized a Seminar on
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT.
Dr. Indira Jai Prakash Ph D Psychology, in her inaugural speech emphasized on how
one should be Psychologically, Politically, Socially and economically empowered to
face the challenges of the society. She also stressed on the point that the school
and college girl students should be courageous enough to stop the harassment
/atrocity against them. She expressed her grief over the increasing involvement
and failure in love affairs among younger generation. She also warned them
regarding the up-coming weekend party trends and its adverse effects on women
life.
The other guest Rtn. Sumathi Rao Rotary Club Chairman women empowerment
wing , added that women should be careful to choose their career and make their
future life wonderful.
Dr. S Nagaraj (Principal), faculty members and the students of IIBS witnessed and
were benefited by the seminar. Prof. Indira Shalini Department of English IIBS
anchored the programme.
