Anticipatory Set: I will ask student to think about their favorite hobby in their heads. Give
them 10 15 seconds. Then ask, what if you could see ideas to take that hobby to the next
level?
Teaching: Begin by asking for a student to provide a category for their hobby (Ex: Legos,
antiques, etc). On the projector screen display a pinterest page with the word provided in the
search bar. Ask each student to pull out their tablet. Student will follow along on their tablet
as you give a demonstration on how to create an account and begin curating pin boards. (13 mins)
Active Involvement: After creating their accounts, students will be asked to create 1 pin
board based on their favorite hobby. (5-8 mins)
Closure: For closure I would ask student to share their pin board with the class, explaining
their hobby and their pinboards. (1-2 mins)
