1. Huipil
Bodice tunic; the woman of the Americas wears a
simple body garment; this is made from a length of
fabric with a neck hole. The side seams are usually
sewn.

7. Quetchquemitl
A type of shawl; a garment which has been worn by
certain indigenous ethnicities in Mexico since the
pre-Hispanic period. It usually consists of two pieces
of rectangular cloth, often woven by hand.

8. China poblana
Womens costume with red skirt. It is considered the
traditional style of dress of women in the Mexican
Republic, although in reality it only belonged to
some urban zones in the middle and southeast of the
country.

Mexico since the pre-Hispanic times. It was
extensively produced and used for both
communication, records and ritual during the Aztec
Empire.

11. Moccasin
A soft leather slipper or shoe, strictly one without a
separate heel, having the sole turned up on all sides
