What Is Photoshop?
Photoshopit's so powerful that it has become one of the best known software
applications on the planet. Photoshop has been around for over 20 years and is a
software application that allows the user to create powerful works of art and
projects that can communicate numerous messages.

Using Photoshop
Move Tool (V) : This is used to move
objects or layers by left clicking on the
mouse.

Color Picker: Located at the bottom of

the tool bar. It shows both foreground
and background color.

Rectangular Marquee Tool (M) : This is a

selection tool, that select an area to apply
different effects from other tools.

Gradient Tool (G) : This tools allows the

user to make a gradient of colors.

Eraser Tool (E) : This tool is used to erase

information that is unwanted.
Horizontal Type Tool (T) : This allow the
user to create text. Click a point on the
drawing space, and begin to type.

Activity : Create A Background Pattern

Directions: Use the images provided to you to create an overlapping / collage
background. Be creative and use the different tools explained from the previous
slide to create your design.
