Actor Shivarajkumar is set to act with Sudeep in Kumbh Mela .

Actor Shivarajkumar will follow in the footsteps of his father Dr. Rajkumar and share screen space with
other big stars. He is set to act with Sudeep in Kumbh Mela and plans to share the screen with his
brother and another top star Puneet Rajkumar.

Appaji (father) had acted with all stars, including Shankar Nag, Anant Nag, Vishnuvardhan, Ambarish,
besides Kalyan Kumar, Uday Kumar in the early days of his career. I am also keen to act with all the top
heroes of Kannada cinema in the coming days, said Mr. Shivarajkumar during Belli Hejje programme
organised by Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy at Ravindra Kalakshetra on Monday.
Shivarajkumar, who recently crossed the 100-film mark, dedicated his success to his father. We grew
up in an environment where neither caste nor class had any space. The bonding factor was human
relation. I grew up like an ordinary boy, not as the son of a star. I used to go to college in a bus, he
recalled.
Shivarajkumar was a cricketer during his college days. Had I continued, I would have played for India,
he said. But, destiny determined otherwise. He was sent to an acting school.
Admitting that he was a great fan of Kamal Hassan, Shivarajkumar said that he did not bathe for four
days after Kamal Hassan hugged him. I didnt want the warmth to be washed away, he smiled.
