thestageleftsideofthedesk
sitsagrayprinterpointed
towardsthebed.Nexttothedesk,
undertheprinterliesan
overflowingwastebin,asifhis
worknaturallyfallsintothe
trash.Whilethereexista
keyboardandamouse,theyarenot
connectedtoacomputerscreen.
Instead,adimblueglowis
projectedagainstthestage,
washingtheroominasoulless,
eternallight,butwithoutthe
powertoilluminatethestage,or
bringlighttoMr.Samuelslife.
Stageleftholdsasimplebed,
paralleltotheaudience.Therest
ofthestageisbare,though
effortshouldbemadetoconvey
thattheapartmentisinfact
small,lifeless,andnumbing.
