The time we live in makes us face unique challenges and temptations. Will you have the courage
to standy strong and not give in?

There has never been a time like the one in which we live now our time. The line between good
and evil can be almost impossible to detect. Moral values are ridiculed, sin is applauded, and
temptations are disguised as valuable experiences. Because this is the our reality of our world,
its even harder to be the ones to go against the flow. Its even harder when people notice us for
being different. NowadaysToday, in fact, being a Christian is almost synonymous with being
closed-minded and judgmental towards others. So how can we live in such a world and still be
the faithful people God wants us to be?

courage. Courage to say no even when everyone is saying yes. Courage to do the right thing,
even when the right thing will make you unpopular or the center of ridicule.
We all live in different parts of the world, with different circumstances and challenges to go
throughEach of our circumstances are different. Some of us may be the only religious person at
school or at work, or some of us may be surrounded by many people who are making the wrong
decisions. But we all need to have courage. President Monson saysid,: Inasmuch as the trend in
society today is rapidly moving away from the values and principles the Lord has given us, we
will almost certainly be called upon to defend that which we believe. Will we have the courage to
do so?
