Audit Report
Process Overview
Our team evaluated the Innovation Greenhouse website, documenting every piece of
content (see appendix) and analyzing the quality of the content for your organization.
We judged each piece of content by evaluating how it addressed the audience, how it
functioned in adding business value to your organization, how it represented the
message of your organization, how it conveyed your voice and personality to the reader,
and how easily the reader can find the content. This audit will help us understand how
your content is working and identify ways to improve your contents usefulness to the
reader and to your organization.

Whil
e evaluating your content, our team isolated three audiences for the Innovation
Greenhouse site: students with startup ideas (the primary audience), music and art
students, and potential investors (secondary audiences). Out of the sixty-eight pieces of
content we analyzed on your site, 44% is targeted toward a secondary audience. The
Music and Arts Showcase page contains more content than any other individual page
on the IG site, yet it does not target the websites primary audience. The majority of the

content should focus clearly on the primary audience, and content that targets
secondary audiences should be minimized.

Business Value
The primary business goal of the Innovation Greenhouse website should be to
encourage students with business ideas to utilize your organizations resources to grow
their ideas into jobs. The introductory paragraph on the sites Visit Us page (item 5.1
in the appendix) is the only content that explicitly works toward that goal. The
credibility of the program is supported by the articles linked in on the News page.
This credibility is essential to the success of the program. Other, secondary goals of the
site are to recruit music and art students for the Music and Art Showcase and find
sponsors to invest in the organization and its startups. These goals are met and
supported by the Music and Art Showcase page and the Support Us page. The
majority of the content does not sufficiently support the goals of the organization and
should be adjusted with these specific goals in mind.

Message
The message of Innovation Greenhouse is the importance of growing the ideas of
students while they are still in school and have the resources available to them to turn
their ideas into jobs. This message is important, not only to students who would utilize
the program, but to sponsors who would invest in the program and resulting startups.
This message is clearly stated in the informative video on the Inspiration Award page
(item 3.2), the Come Visit Us section on the Visit Us page (item 5.1), and the
Support Us page (item 6). Rather than explicitly stating the message of the
organization, some of the content works to support that message in more implicitly.
However, some content does not sufficiently support or reinforce the message of
Innovation Greenhouse, and this content should be edited or made less prominent.

Voice
Innovation Greenhouses passion for student ideas and Nancys unique voice and
enthusiasm for the program are what make this organization so powerful. That voice
and passion should be present in all of the sites content. The content that currently best
demonstrates that voice are the videos hosted on the Home and Inspiration Award
pages. Finding ways to incorporate that passion into the site where it is currently
lacking will be a large part of our strategy for improving content.

Findability
All of the content on the site is easily accessed from the Home page and navigation
bar at the top of the site. However, off-site content (Twitter, LinkedIn, Vimeo, etc) is not
available through the site. This supplementary content is very important and should be
easily located from the organizations website. Additionally, the off-site content should
provide a gateway back to the Innovation Greenhouse website.
