Please add specific comments about the student teachers observed strengths during this teaching
practicum and identify areas in which you feel further development is necessary.
Observed Strengths:

Areas in which further development is needed:

You are very entertaining using the puppet to describing

the class rules.
You do have a very good rapport with the students. You
were calm and collected and never lost your composure.
Your engagement activity in the lesson plan was very well
written and very detailed.
Some students did have an opportunity to plant a seed by
following the teachers procedures.

Students spent too much time waiting for the lesson to begin. We
must maximize the instructional time to the best of our abilities to
students are constantly learning throughout the day.
Lesson Description must fully describe the lesson of the day. Your
description is a definition of a plant. According to the lesson plan,
the topic of the lesson is plant. However, students listen to a video
about head, shoulders, and toes.
The connection between the video and the topic was not apparent.
The lesson plan was totally incomplete

General Comments: It was very difficult to follow the lesson. The topic of the lesson is plant. Students watch a short video on
planting followed by a video titled head, shoulder, knees and toes. The connections between those two videos were not
evident. From the video, the class rules were reviewed using the puppet (Which was excellent). Student were placed in groups
to follow the instructions on how to grow their own plants. The cups and other materials could have been prepared ahead of
time to
maximize the instructional time especially with such a large class.
