Legal control Import and Export is an application which was designed to take care of

licensing process for any of the process

It was designed to support Import and Export process.

GTS system need to assign the available licenses to the product in the transactions,
if there is no license it has to block the transaction.

Issue: System was not able to identify the license even when maintained,

Ans: We reached out to the GTS area menu in GTS in legal control import and export
we have gone through list of blocked documents for license requirements and found
the document and gone through the complete flow.
We checked the determination procedure system is considering for determining
correct legal regulation and according to control parameters available in the legal
regulation it identifies the license type,

Product classification:
In international trade there is a mandatory requirement by customs authority to
classify the product, based on the product classification it is able to identify
licenses, documentation, tax and duties as a reason customs has made it
mandatory to maintain product classification.
Final preparation activities involved
Initial transfer is done in SAP GTS area menu in in ECC system for final preparation
cut over strategy
