Note Game on Ground
Students will be in teams by color group.
Students will verbally review the line and space notes.
Teacher will point out the string on the ground that
resembles a music staff.
Students will be asked to think of a three to four letter
word that they can spell out on the music staff.
In color groups, students will, without talking, place
small hula-hoops on the large string music staff laid
out on the floor.
The other color groups will race to write what word
they think that they spelled.
To win: the word must be written on the whiteboard
and the team must not shout out the answer and
raise their board first!
Every color group will have a chance to spell a word.
While the students are placing a word on the staff the
students and teacher will sing the Jeopardy theme song.
