ThisprojectallowedmetoputintopracticesomeofthethingsthatIhad
learnedinmyclassMath1040,collectingdata,organizeitandevenseeingan
exampleonhowIcanbeabletousethisprojectintosomethingsimilarinmy
everydaylife.Thisprojectreflectsthestartingsalariesforcollegestudentsand
benefitsondifferentcareermajorsandissomethingthatitcanbeapplytoany
otherdifferentlifeevent.
Thedatacollectionthatweworkwithwasfromtheyear2014
anditwasasimplerandomsampletakenfromtheUSDepartmentofLabor
statisticsoncollegegraduates,inthisnexttableisanexampleofthedataofthe
samplemeanandstandarddeviationofthiscollegegraduatesandtheircareer.
