Message
The PCSO Presidential Gold Cup has, over the years, become known as a proving ground of champions
and an arena where the best Philippine Thoroughbreds compete for the highest honors in the sport.
It has become the scene where rivalries are enacted and battles for supremacy fought to showcase
excellence and sportsmanship.
This years Gold Cup is no exception, as can be seen in the stellar lineup of horses entered by
connections seeking to earn the coveted Gold Cup trophy. It is an event that participants look forward
to, with their preparation and race strategies discussed well beforehand and implemented with an eye
to victory.
This years event is made possible through the partnership and cooperation of the Philippine Racing
Commission, which sponsored an additional P1 million in prize money, and the Manila Jockey Club
as the host club.
We also thank the racing fans for their decades of support for this event and for PCSO, and the
participants who are now all a part of PCSO Gold Cup and racing history.
In behalf of the PCSO family, welcome to the 2015 PCSO Presidential Gold Cup, and to all, a Peaceful
Christmas and Prosperous New Year!

Message
It is my pleasure to invite all of you to witness the 43rd PCSO Presidential Gold Cup race, a landmark
occasion that will see the best Thoroughbreds of the land compete for this prestigious award.
Over the decades that it has been staged, the PCSO Gold Cup has cemented its status as the years
most important race, with its winner truly deserving of the term champion.
There are many superlatives that have been used to describe this event powerful, fast, and passionate
among them but most of all, the key word that defines it is excellent. Only the very best may win. And
that is the purpose of the PCSO Presidential Gold Cup and indeed the whole PCSO Racing Program
to encourage achievement and the highest standards of sports and sportsmanship.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Philippine Racing Commission for their partnership to make
this race not only the most prestigious but also the richest, to Manila Jockey Club for providing the
venue, and to the contestants for making this event memorable and exciting.
To the racing fans, our warm thanks also for their continued patronage of PCSO Lotto and other
games, and may they be well entertained by this event.
In behalf of the PCSO Committee on Races, welcome to the 43rd PCSO Presidential Gold Cup, and
seasons greetings to all!

Congratulations to the PCSO for once more staging the Presidential Gold Cup, the most awaited
event in the sport that is now an annual tradition.
Congratulations
PCSO
The Commission understands the importance of this event and that efforts are needed to preserve it
and augment its prestige as a keystone of the racing calendar.
Thus I am proud to carry on Philracoms support for the PCSO Gold Cup by way of providing an
additional P1 million in prize money and in doing whatever we can to promote and publicize the
event, this year by arranging for its live coverage on national TV. By these means Philracom remains
a committed partner of PCSO in racing.
In behalf of the racing and breeding industry, we thank PCSO for sponsoring a racing program that
includes maiden races and major stakes races such as the Freedom Cup, National Grand Derby,
Anniversary Race, Silver Cup, and of course the Gold Cup. All these events provide incentives for
participants and excitement for racing fans.
In behalf of the Philracom Board of Commissioners, staff, and employees, my most cordial wishes for
a successful 43rd PCSO Presidential Gold Cup and a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Message
For the third consecutive year, the Manila Jockey Club is proud and honored to host the Presidential
Gold Cup at the San Lazaro Leisure Park (SLLP) in Carmona, Cavite in partnership with the Philippine
Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).
Once again, the Bayang Karerista will witness the industrys finest jockeys and thoroughbreds as they
compete for the prestigious Gold Cup title and a generous purse from the PCSO and the Philippine
Racing Commission (Philracom). More importantly however, the Presidential Gold Cup fosters an
environment of excellence by encouraging owners to breed faster horses, and jockeys and trainers to
better hone their skills, thus elevating the standards of Philippine horse racing to greater heights.
We commend the PCSO for being a major supporter of the industry. Their sponsorship of major
stakes races all year round continues to drive growth. Moreover, it gives the Bayang Karerista more
opportunities to watch their favored horses and jockeys, and witness the rising talents of the sport.
In behalf of the management and staff of Manila Jockey Club, Inc., we extend our sincerest felicitations
to the PCSO, and wish all the competitors a safe and successful run.
Mabuhay!
