Target Market

Long time to
fix bicycles

Our target market is between the ages of 5-10 and 2660. When it comes to ages 5-10 we feel we will get the
most sales. Most kids at that age want a new bicycle and
also go outside and ride it. Ages 26-60 is also acceptable
because people at that age want to work out and get in
shape and these bicycles will help them out with cardio.
We feel that our target market is the right ages.

Customer Buying Behavior

People will buy bicycles and accessories at our store.
Also we have a workshop that people can fix bikes.
People want to buy bicycles in a suburban community.
This area has a bunch of nature trails and sidewalks
where our customers can ride their bicycles. These
customers will buy bikes at a futuristic store like Tour de
Cycle.

Promotional Ideas

Tour
de
Cycle

Grand Opening Day

Opening day will be very exciting. First before opening day we must
take control over social media to promote the store. This includes Twitter,
Youtube, Instagram, and Snapchat. We want the whole world about the
opening of the store. For Youtube we will show the commercial of the store.
We will offer door prizes for the first 100 people that attend to our store. The
prizes will be 50% of bicycles and 10% off accessories. Also, we will be giving
away a bicycle in a raffle. Finally we will have mayor Mike Bodker cut the
ribbon for the store. These grand opening ideas will definitely have Tour de
Cycle a historic event.

Customer Service Policies

First we will give a survey so customers will tell us
their concerns or complaints. Then we will discuss these
complaints with our employees so we can understand
what we need to fix. Finally we will talk to our vendors
and service ideas. We want all the information that the
customer can offer to us so we can fix it in the future. The

information that we receive will be fixed as best as we

can and as fast as we can.

Types of Promotion
First we want mainly the local community to shop at
or store. We feel that we should use local radio stations to
promote our store. Since the basketball season has
recently started we want 92.9 the game to promote our
store over radio while people listen to the Atlanta Hawks
play. Second, local TV stations are great ideas. This can
be CNN because of the channels headquarters in Atlanta,
GA. Finally billboards over local available space would
contribute. There is an electric billboard near our store
that can promote us and point to wear we are stationed.
Having our store in Johns Creek, definitely helps us
greatly.

Economic Risk
For a bicycle store, we definitely expect so economic
risk. One of the biggest economic risk is consumer
lifestyle. People (mainly kids) grow too big for their bike
and need a new one. We have bicycles that anyone can
fit on so we will be prepared for this risk. Also some bikes
get outdated and we are here to provide new bikes.
Economic Risk is one of the three risks that we are the
most comfortable.

Natural Risk

In Johns Creek, we understand that nature can be

very affective. It is important for us to be prepared. We
know all of the store and places to be in for tornadoes,
hurricanes, or earthquakes. The customer must feel safe
in our store. We have protected parts on glass windows
so people wont be in danger for situations like tornadoes.
For things like wars, terrorism or shootings we have a
phone to call 911 in the places that we hide. Natural Risk
is very important to prepare for.

Human Risks
If we do mess up prices we let people get a free
accessory. Yes it is kind of strict, but our workers need to
know to get their math correct. When a customer is
feeling like our worker is dishonest, we will ask the worker
and try to understand both sides of the argument. Finally,
we will make the environment comfortable for the

customer. Human risk will be solved because these risks

could get rid of our business.

Loss Prevention Policies

1. We put cameras in everywhere of the store except
bathrooms to watch for shoplifting.
2. We have sensors near the doors so people hopefully forgot

3.

to pay the cashier and not shoplift.

Expensive accessories are put in glass boxes with a label so
when someone wants to be one they need to get a worker at
the store to scan it.
