Leah demonstrated the effective use of a variety of assessment tools to include but not limited to documenting student
reading performance via an observational chart for site words correctly read. She continues to work with her cooperating
teacher to analyze assessment data and use the resulting data to drive instructional decision-making. Leah provides
positive and enthusiastic feedback during whole group instruction. She also provides individual student corrective
feedback as necessary, in a respectful and supportive manner.

classroom under the supervision and coaching of a top-notched classroom teacher. As a pre-service teacher, Leah

Leah is sufficiently meeting this standard. Leah is learning to track student progress using formative assessment of
student performance. She should continue to learn and grow in this area as she gains time and experience in the
classroom using student learning data.
