To Whom It May Concern:

I was one of Christine Gatlins mentor teachers for the duration of her
student teaching at Meadows Elementary. In my Kindergarten classroom,
Christine completed a two-week teach where her responsibilities consisted of
writing lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, differentiating, and
participating in grade-level meetings.
During this time, Christine was motivated to learn as much as she could and
consistently performed to her best capacities. She asked for feedback
regularly and accepted constructive criticism with maturity. She understood
her limitations as an inexperienced teacher, and observed closely and
carefully to improve her knowledge and own teaching abilities.
Christine built a positive and warm relationship with the students at
Meadows Elementary. She showed her dedication to the students by
attending after-school events, such as our Fall Carnival, when it was not
required of her. She also participated in our campus Professional Learning
Community, where our staff joins together to vertically align curriculum and
discuss various ways to increase the learning at our school.
Christine presented herself with a nurturing attitude while at Meadows, and
was always professional towards students and staff. I believe Christine is
well-prepared and capable of moving on to the next level of her career in
education.
